I tried to resist I didn't want this strangers blood, but it was like every fibre of my being wanted it and it physically hurt to resist.

I snatched his arm and sunk my fangs deep into the flesh.

Once his blood hit my tongue I tightened my grip on his wrist. His blood was like nothing like I'd ever tasted before. It was a little cold and thicker than human blood would be, but it also tasted rich and gave me huge amounts of energy.

After about 30 seconds of drinking I tried to pull away, only I couldn't. It was like I was glued to him. I looked up and begged with for eyes for him to stop me. He quickly tried to tug his wrist away, but I just gripped him tighter like a vice. Unlike me he didn't seem the slightest bit worried.

"You can stop. Just focus." He smirked.

That bastard planned this all along didn't he? He knew I wasn't going to be able to stop.

I was having a war with myself trying to pull away. While I was doing this I noticed his eyes start shifting into a deep shade of crimson and I could see something glinting in his eyes that I couldn't recognise.

Eventually, I managed to pry my lips away from his porcelain skin.

As I was licking my lips clean, he reached behind him and grabbed the bloodbag he'd put there earlier and sank his teeth into it. He drank the contents slowly, even though I could tell be his body language that he was starving and wanted more than to gulp the whole liquid down like a starving man. He'd knowingly allowed me to take too much blood from him.

"M'sorry" I mumbled as I wiped the corner of my mouth.

"You have no reason to be." He ran a hand through his hair. "You're dismissed for now. I have some errands to run. I'll be back shortly."

"Where are you going?" I asked making him tense up a little.

"That is none of your concern."

He placed his hands on my shoulders, spun me around, then walked me to the threshold of his bedroom.

"Would you mind if I left the house? I need to visit someone, they'll be worried." Andy looked at me through the corner of his eye then seemed to think about it.

"Human?" I nodded "could you possibly wait until I get back? Then I could accompany you and make for certain that you do no harm."

"If you wouldn't mind I'd like to go on my own." His face scrunched up a little as if he was in deep thought.

After a few minutes he looked at me and scanned my face.

"That would be incredibly unwise and dangerous. You've just witnessed for yourself what happens when you're hungry." His voice was cold and harsh and I couldn't help but flinch.

"But-"

"My decision is final." He seemed to think for a second. "Once you have gained control of your bloodlust you can do whatever you like."

"When will that be?"

"Roughly about three centuries" and with that Andrew walked past me, without another glance, let a lone word.

I sighed then closed his door. He wasn't being fair. I mean what does he know about anything?

He only has a few thousand years worth of knowledge, but what does that matter?

I groaned a little and ran a hand through my hair. I heard the front door close from downstairs and assumed that it was just Andrew leaving.

I bit my lip. If I left the house for just a couple of hours he wouldn't know and what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Also nothing bad could happen in the space of two hours, right? I'd made up my mind.

I'm going out.
