It was seven in the morning, Yoshi and Asahi entered the cafe. They saw Yn caressing the head of a pigeon softly, which was sitting on the counter top. In front of it, a small bowl of grains was placed
"So you again let that bird inside" Yoshi asked as she nodded her head "I think it was hungry" she said and softly held the bird on one hand. She opened the door of the cafe and left the pigeon to fly
Yoshi and Asahi shared a look and turned towards Yn. She smiled at them and went inside the counter and started doing her work.
"Guys, I'll be off this afternoon" she said "Do you need any of us to come with you?" Yoshi asked her as she shook her head
"It's okay, I can manage" she said while Yoshi continued to blend the ingredients while Asahi wiped the tables clean.
Miyeon had taken a leave as she was sick. She had already informed the three of her absence and her friends agreed and let her take rest.
It was afternoon and Yn gazed at her wrist watch '12:30'. She took off her apron and hung it on the door inside the kitchen of the cafe.
"Guys, I'm going" she said as Yoshi made his way towards her who was standing near the door. He gently removed the hair which was tucked behind her ear and let her hair fall free as she let out a giggle
"All boys tuck a hair strand behind the girl's ear, but why are you letting it fall" she asked Yoshi as he playfully winked at her "Its my way to persuade you" he said and they both soon laughed together
She turned towards Asahi who just handed a drink towards one customer. She silently waved her hand to him when he looked at her. He just made a heart sign from his finger and she giggled lightly and exited the cafe
She soon started walking towards her destination. But she was distracted in the middle as she saw an antic shop and decided to go inside.
Yoshi and Asahi had airpods in their ears slightly bumping their head back on fro to the tune of music. They were sharing the airpods as they cannot block two ears while working. Asahi served the drink towards the customer who then later pointed his finger towards him
"Don't you think hearing music can distract you while working?"
Asahi bowed towards him and answered "I know sir, so I only plugged it to only one ear and the volume is extremely low. Our cafe name is melody and we play music everyday, but today we had a problem with the speaker so there's no music. We got a habit of listening to music while working, so I'm hearing it" he explained as the customer nodded his head
Then Asahi went near the counter and kept the tray "Change the song" he said as Yoshi nodded his head and changed the music from his mobile
"When will Yn return?" Asahi asked as Yoshi shrugged his shoulder "Don't worry, she will come soon" Yoshi assured him as Asahi nodded his head and continued to do his work
Yn was busy gazing at the antic pieces of the shops and she didn't notice the person in front of her who was also lost watching the beauty of those pieces. They both bumped into each other making Yn gasp. She was about to fall but the person held her by her shoulder holding her in place.
She gazed at the person she collided with, he was handsome as if he had come straight out of an anime. He had black hair which was parted in the middle making him look hot. He was wearing a black outfit from top to bottom. He had freckles on his cheeks and nose making him more handsome.
"Are you alright" he asked in his deep voice as Yn nodded her head "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention" she apologized and bowed to him
He just chuckled and shook his hand in front of her "It's okay, even I wasn't paying attention" he said as she nodded her head "Do you come here often?" She asked softly starting a conversation
"I had come here once and this is my second time. What about you?" He asked her "This is my first time. I was headed somewhere but got distracted here" she said and smiled cheekily making him chuckle
Suddenly the man's phone made a ping sound indicating he received a message. He removed his phone from his pocket and gazed at it. He looked up at Yn and gave her a smile.
"I have to go now" he said and she nodded her head "It was nice meeting you. Myself Kang Yn" she said and forwarded her hand as the man held her hand and shook it "Lee Felix" he said with a smile making her smile in return
He turned around and walked towards the door and walked away as Yn stood and gazed at the door which he just exited. She sighed and gazed around the shops and saw a particular small vase with a fake plant which could be kept on the table top. She went to the cashier to pay for the item and exited the shop
The person watched Yn exit the shop and decided to follow her. He was wearing a cap which was covering his face and a small smirk was plastered on his lips.
He watched the small encounter of her with Lee Felix whom he was actually keeping an eye on.
He also silently heard their conversation.
He never knew Felix can be so much gentle towards a stranger girl
He saw the girl walk inside the cafe which read the name 'Melody'. He removed the cap and ruffled his hair making it a little messy. He threw his cap in the nearby dustbin and walked towards the cafe
He was welcomed by the sound of the bell as soon as he opened the door. He saw Yn already sitting on the cashier chair and walked towards her. Yn bowed towards him and smiled at him
"Welcome to the cafe Melody. What would you like to order sir?" She asked as the man analysed the menu
"One espresso please" he said and saw Yn typed something on the machine and smiled at him "You will receive your order soon sir. Please have a seat" she said as he nodded his head
The man took a seat near the window and stared at Yn. 'Interesting' he thought inside his head
Yoshi noticed the man staring at Yn and he felt uneasy
"Yn actually i want you to separate the berries and wash them properly as we are running out here in the tray. Could you please go inside the kitchen and do it. I'll handle your work here" Yoshi said as Yn nodded her head and disappeared inside the kitchen
"Shit" the man muttered slowly as Yn went inside the kitchen. Asahi was about to deliver his espresso but was stopped by Yoshi who volunteered to give him
Yoshi kept the cup on the table and made eye contact with the man. He held a poker face for two seconds before smiling at him "Enjoy your drink sir" saying this he went back towards the counter
The man watched Yoshi in disbelief but shrugged off and took a sip from his espresso.
After finishing the drink he gazed towards the counter only to find Yoshi sitting there and no presence of Yn.
He shook his head and exited the cafe. Just then his phone rang and he gazed at the caller and found his leader was calling him.
"What's the progress Vernon?" he asked from the other side as Vernon just smirked and remembered the image of Yn
"I have an interesting news to tell you Hyung"
