PRESENT

Dino stood confidently in front of her, his smirk a mixture of arrogance and satisfaction. She stood staring at him, her face expressionless and cold. With his words, he had revealed that he had discovered her secret.

At that moment, Woozi entered the room and leaned nonchalantly against the wall. He was casually dressed in a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and he looked at her with an air of detachment. It was clear that he was aware of her secret at this point, as was Dino.

The realization that both Woozi and Dino knew her secret made her feel vulnerable and exposed. She could sense the power they had over her, and it made her feel small and helpless.
Despite her feelings of vulnerability and helplessness, she refused to back down. She was determined to maintain her composure and not let them see how nervous she was.

Dino looked at her with a smirk and raised his eyebrows questioningly. "Where's your brother?" he asked, his tone laced with a hint of condescension.

She stood there, her expression unflinching, but both Dino and Woozi noticed the subtle gulp of her throat. "He's dead" she said simply, her voice betraying no emotion.
The room fell silent as the gravity of her words hung in the air. Dino and Woozi both stared at her, their expressions betraying a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

Dino looked at her with a smirk, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "You're very smart, aren't you?" he said, his eyes narrowing. "Requesting art supplies for painting and then using them to write secret messages that you attach to your eagle pet to send to Namjoon. Clever girl."

She met his gaze unflinchingly, her expression betraying none of the fear and uncertainty she was feeling. She had been caught out, and Dino knew it.
Woozi remained leaning against the wall, watching the exchange with a sense of detached amusement. Inwardly, he was impressed with her resourcefulness.

Dino stepped closer to her, a confident air emanating from him as he spoke. "Don't think we, or anyone else, missed it," he chuckled. "I’m the spy of Seventeen for a reason, and I know every inch of information.” He leaned in closer, his face mere inches away from hers. “You think you can fool us?"

She could feel his breath on her face as he continued to talk, his voice low and dangerous. "You really thought you could keep your secrets hidden from us? From me?"
Dino chuckled again, the sound devoid of any mirth. "You should know better than to underestimate us, princess," he said, a hint of mockery in his tone.

She felt a pang of helplessness at his words, but she refused to show any sign of fear or weakness. She held his gaze, her face a mask of calm indifference.
Dino’s eyes locked onto hers as he asked in a low voice, "Tell me, where is your brother?" His gaze was intense and unwavering, as if he were pinning her to the spot with the force of his stare alone.

She stood there, her eyes fixed on him in a stern, unflinching gaze. "He's dead" she repeated calmly, her voice steady despite the weight of her words. Dino scoffed disdainfully as he heard her response, clearly skeptical of the truthfulness of her statement. Before he could speak, however, Woozi gently held his hand, silencing him. "Let her be," he said quietly, "What good would come of pursuing her brother?"

Dino’s eyes narrowed as he heard Woozi’s words, his expression betraying his annoyance at being interrupted. He wanted to press her further, to demand answers to the questions he so clearly had, but he reluctantly held his tongue.
