"People call me on the phone,
I'm trying to avoid,
Or can people on tv see me,
or am I just paranoid?"

"Bye, Gran," Josie bid goodbye to the older woman, closing the door behind her. The older Prescott girl was in a much better mood. One that would hopefully help her pass her last exam that was in the morning.
The brunette was quick to check her surroundings when she left the apartment complex. Walking her way back towards the park that crossed into the university campus. Keeping her senses on high alert like she always did. Never knowing what or who could be lurking in the shadows. Her footsteps echoed off the sidewalk of the empty path, vacant of any other individual. For an 8 o'clock night on a Thursday, the way leading back to the campus seemed rather dead. No late night foodies, no party people.
It probably had a lot to do with the fact the last of the students still left where tucked away in their rooms studying for their own finals while the rest of the student body had opted for the early exams to have their break start faster since their school year had started sooner at the university compared to others.Josie was in her own head on her journey back to her dorm building. Her mind had wandered back to the things she had learned the day prior from the news. The two college students killed had attended the same school Sidney was currently at. And they had similar names to the original victims back home. First it was her mother Maureen. Then Steve was killed at Casey's. It was a rather odd thing. She wondered if it was a pattern being created and the next would fall to someone with a similarity to Casey Becker.
But then when she also learned of two seniors who were attending Woodsboro High, it kept popping back up in her mind. How were they connected? Was it just wrong place wrong time?
Their names weren't shared so there wasn't any connection the girl could have made in that department. Maybe there was just a chance all of it was just a coincidence due to the new Stab movie getting closer to its release date? The girl knew curiosity killed the cat. Though she couldn't help but think about the individual who was putting extra thought into all of this. Either to stir shit up or to try and recreate the story. One thing she knew is she fucking hated sequels.
The thing that pulled her out of her own thoughts was her cell phone going off. Taking her small phone from her pocket, she glanced down to see the caller pop up. 'Geek Meeks' appeared. Letting out a small chuckle, Josie clicked the answer button and held her phone up to her ear while she walked.
"Yes, Randall?"
"Josie. Thank god you answered the phone. I was starting to question if you even gave me the right number."
"Trust me. The idea crossed my mind."
Randy scoffed on the other line.
"It's been awhile. What made you dial my phone?" She questioned
"Have you seen?" Randy questioned in a hushed tone on the other end.
"Seen what exactly? You gotta be specific, Randall."
"You know, Jo. The killings."
She sighed, "Yes. I've seen to news."
"Do you think... you don't think this has anything to do with...like anything that happened right? Because your sister met me after class and tried to say she thought it was weird. Obviously she wasn't going to reach out to you if it was just her imagination since you have your own life now. So I told her it was nothing to make her feel better. But now I'm not too sure," Randy rambled on.
