Nate was pretty sure he was borderline in love. And that scared him because the girl he was falling for wasn't Maddy.

Maddy was his first real relationship. Of course he had little ones before that lasted maybe a month but him and Maddy have been together since sophomore year. So what happened in their relationship was what he thought was supposed to happen.

And of course his dad going behind his mom's back and meeting up with people at motels and cheating didn't help any. So Lana scared him a little. She communicated with him instead of yelling and arguing. She listened to what he had to say and built off of that, instead of telling him he was wrong and she was right.

She let him explain himself, and give his opinion on things. So, of course cause he didn't truly understand what a healthy relationship was like, Nate being Nate was going to do everything he could to prove to himself that he wasn't really falling for lana. He wanted to try to prove to himself that he only liked her for the sex. Because to him it was impossible to have a health relationship with someone.

He just wasn't expecting Cassie to reject him.

"I feel like I would look so sexy pregnant." Maddy said rubbing her stomach and looking in the mirror in the school bathroom. BB was on the counter and Lana was leaning against the wall.

"Maddy, please do not get pregnant." Kat said as she walked out of the bathroom and over to the sink.

"I wouldn't wear any of those nasty maternity clothes. I would just be me plus pregnant." Maddy said Lana watched her walk over to sit on the counter.

"Remember when I got pregnant?" BB asked "Yes, and it would be nothing like that." Maddy said

"Well, speaking of baby daddies, I've seen the photo that Ethan posted of the two of you. It's cute as fuck." BB said "Yeah, Kat, stop flaunting your healthy, non-abusive, wonderful relationship. It's actually triggering." Maddy said

Lana stayed quiet,"Yeah, he's, um... He's really sweet." Kat said, "You don't sound sure." Lana said

"I am. We were together last night actually. He, like, tore my clothes and fucked the shit out of me." Kay told them.

"Seriously?" Maddy asked as they looked at her, "Yeah. It's great." Kat said and laughed a little "Wow." Maddy said impressed "Go Ethan!" BB cheered.

Cassie was laying in her bed when she got a text from Nate telling her to come out cause he was outside her house.

She got up and ran out to his truck and got in. He looked at her and leaned over to kiss her.

She pulled away and look at him, "Nate that was just like a one time thing." She told him "I mean, you're with Lana-"

Nate cut her off, "I'm not with Lana." He told her. Which wasn't technically a lie. They hadn't made anything official yet.

"But she likes you a lot. And I don't. I was drunk. We shouldn't have hooked up." Cassie told him.

"Cassie-" Nate started

"I'm sorry Nate." Cassie apologized cutting him off and slowly got out of the truck, "I just-I can't do that to maddie or Lana. I'm sorry."

Sorry it's so short. I didn't know what to really put in it. I didn't want Lana to be bestie-bestie with Maddy really yet.

I'm sorry for not publishing I don't have HBO Max right now so I don't have Euphoria and I didn't think I had another chapter written out. So for right now this book will be on hold until I get HBO back which will hopefully be soon! Again really sorry!
