Eddie was now standing with the other's his hand tightly grabbing onto Richie's arm like if he let go he would fall even thought he was a safe distance from the edge, "Think you might rip my arm off at this point Ed's"

"Yeah then I'll slap you with it for making me do this!"

"Hey you agreed on your own" Richie chuckles gently patting the top of Eddie's hand, "Yeah because you gave me those stupid puppy dog eyes that you always do! God I hate those eye's and I hate your face right about now" He groans taking a deep breath, Richie stares down at him a small smile on his face.. "I'll go down with you"

"What?" Eddie says looking up at him confused "I'll jump with you so you can land on me if something goes wrong... Which it won't!"

"But.. In the low chances.." Eddie mumbles a small chuckle escapes him "Exactly, in the VERY low chances" Richie matches his smile the two boys smiling at one another before Bev speaks up "So! Who's going first or is it going to be me again?" She smirks her arms crossed her body trembling lightly. "I'll go!" Bill steps up the group looking at him as he smiles and takes a few large steps back then suddenly goes running Eddie's eyes following him feeling his own stomach drop as he falls hearing his loud yell until a large splash of water replaces it, "Why am I so nervous?" Eddie groans making Richie shrug. 

"Because it's something you haven't done before"

"But I do it at the quarry"

"Which you made sure was deep enough before even thinking about touching it, this was out of no where so you couldn't make sure it was safe.. That's why" Richie explains, a small smile grows on Eddie's face hearing the way he explained the ways Eddie would take precaution on anything the group did.. Richie always noticed those things about him like the time Ben wanted to bring them to this train track he found it was abandoned but even with that news Eddie had to make sure and searched it up at the library only feeling safe when he found out it really had been closed for years, Richie didn't notice but he had been in love with Eddie for more years then he thought.. It didn't start when he realized he though Eddie was cute no.. It started the first day they met when they had became friends spending nearly everyday with each other connected at the hip, Richie's parents even asked about Eddie when he wasn't even there.. It had always been Eddie he just didn't realize.

"Yeah I guess so, you promise it's deep enough?"

"I couldn't touch, so yeah it's deep enough Ed's" 

"See ya loser's" Bev winks before jumping off letting out a loud whoop joining Bill in the water below, Stanley was the next to jump his yell high pitch cracking half way through then his body hits the water like a bag of potato's. Then it was Mike followed by Ben leaving the two stood up there Eddie still grabbing his arm as he peaks over the edge letting out a shaky breath "You got this Ed's!" Richie says his voice confident placing his hands on Eddie's shoulder shaking his lightly making the boy chuckle "Okay Okay, shake me anymore I might barf"

"You okay now?" Richie smiles down at him seeing Eddie nod a small smile on his face, Richie reach's down taking his hand in his suppressing a laugh seeing the difference. "Just don't swallow a shit tone of water when we jump okay? It's not fun" Richie explains earing a full laugh from Eddie "Noted", Richie takes his few steps back leading Eddie with him watching his face go from panic to even more panicked as he starts running forcing Eddie to catch up with him before they were off the ground and falling down in the water. A loud scream comes from his mouth before quickly shutting it so like Richie warned, he wouldn't get a mouth full of water once he hits the water his panic subsides now being replaced with a feeling of adrenaline and excitement as he pops up to the surface a big smile on his face "Holy shit! That was fucking awesome!"

"See not bad right!" Richie grins not noticing that their hands were still locked together hidden by the darkness of the water, "You guy's wanna go get something to eat?" Bev call's out the two of them didn't even notice half of the loser's were out of the water wrapped in their towels "God yes, I'm starving!" the glasses wearing teen basically jumps up at the thought of food lifting himself out of the water helping Eddie out after watching as his tucks the longish piece of his hair behind his ears quickly hurrying to grab his towels tossing Richie's over to him snapping him out of his daze in order to catch it. The loser's get dry enough to put on their clothes again then the seven of them start their hike back up to the van "Mike mind if I drive for a bit?" Richie ask as they start to near the car "Yeah sure" he shrugs tossing the keys over to Rich letting him climb into the drivers seat, "Want shot gun?" Bev leans over to ask Eddie seeing his confused look before he realizes what she's doing "Bev-"

"Eddie, take it or I'll force you in that damn seat"

"Fine" He groans changing his path now walking over to the passenger door climbing into the sit, he let's out a small sigh enjoying the feeling of an actually seat behind him. "Can't get enough of me huh?" Richie smirks earning Eddie's signature glare "Don't even start", the two watch as everyone else get's comfortable in the back Bev goes to sit next to Bill before he moves over to Stanley peaking over to read his comic. She stares at the two until Ben slides in beside him "You alright Bev?"

"Hm oh yeah, sorry" she lets out a small chuckle the two sharing a small smile which makes both Richie and Eddie share another knowing look both holding the same smirk on their faces, "Could they be any more obvious huh?" Richie whispers turning to face forward again "I know right?" Eddie nods in agreement "Alrighty, where we heading Bev?" 

"Just find us a place to eat Rich" 

"My specialty" Richie roll's his eyes starting to van listening to it rumble to life, starting to drive out of the parking lot Eddie notices how serious he seems to take driving his face was stern his eyes darting everywhere it was supposed to be until they were safely back on the main street joining the other cars. Eddie leans forward looking through the Cd's Bev had brought for this trip letting out a gasp as he pull's out a Gun's  n' Rose's one showing it to Richie making him gasp to, "Beverly Marsh! You stole my CD!"

"I did not still anything! I borrowed it" She huffs crossing her arms "Without me knowing, so that means stealing" Richie adds making Bev roll her eyes "Fine Fine, but it was just to good to give back"

"I know, because it's my music taste! Put it in Ed's" Richie says looking back over at Eddie seeing a smirk on his face his words hitting him "You perv!" 

"You said it!" Eddie gasp but still slides in the CD, a new song playing in the van while the two glared at one another. "Eye's on the road Tozier!" Bev cuts through the two making Richie roll his eyes but he does look back on the road tapping his finger against the wheel to the beat of the song, the loser's in the back laughed about random stuff Eddie turning to join the for a few before he got tired and rested his head against the glass window watching stuff zoom by. Still getting over the fact that they weren't in Darry was hard for everyone but god was it fun..
