"I will never get over this feeling!" Stanley sighs with relief as the group dumps the contents of their bags into the garbage "And don't even think of making another touching your dick joke Richie" Stan adds shooting a glare at Richie making the taller teen raise his hands in defense, "Come on it's a good joke!"

"You guys need girlfriends" Bev rolls her eyes the group now walking down the side walk leaving the old brick building behind them till after summer break, the word girlfriend makes Richie tense up looking ahead of him at the short haired red head.. Would they start to ask question's if he doesn't have a girlfriend?

"Some chicks dig a man in glasses, you guys got nothing going for you" Richie smirks pushing his thick glasses up his nose his friends roll their eyes, "Richie, this is why you've never had a girlfriend" Bev laughs throwing her arm up and around his shoulder Richie wrapping his arm around his waist having to tilt slightly to make it more comfortable, "I will teach you have to earn the heart of a women okay Rich.. Soon you'll be the biggest ladies men the world has ever seen" Bev smiles up at him the two chuckling with one another as the other's stay behind them looking at one another, Eddie look's over at Bill and Ben the two had their eye's glued to the back of Bev's head before making eye contact with each other the air between them becoming awkward in seconds even after they break the eye contact. Eddie lets out a sigh rolling his eyes, this has been going on for years its clear they both like her yet they don't do anything about it.

"I wonder what kind of women Ed's is gonna end up with?" Eddie looks ahead of him seeing Richie now walking backwards a big grin on his face, "At least I'm going to end up with one, asshole" Eddie snaps back giving his friend the middle finger only causing him to chuckle and turn back around until they get to the parking lot reserved to the high school students.

"See you guys later!" Richie calls out as he splits away from the group waving his hand until he gets to the car he was gifted for his sixteenth birthday, Richie was seventeen he had failed a grade in middle school and had to be held back so him and Mike were the oldest of the friend group. He pulls open the car door looking back over his shoulder his eye's landing on Eddie.. The brown haired boy was laughing with Stanley the two walking over to Stan's car since Eddie's mom would never let him get a car of his own saying it was "Too dangerous"

He couldn't help but stare, he had known this boy for years.. He still remembers the first day he had ever met his over worried friend, he had been partnered up with Bill for a school project the two became friends which led to Richie being introduced to Stan and Eddie. The short brown hair boy was busy wiping his side of the lunch table with a disinfecting wipe that he didn't even notice Richie until he turned around and let out a scream loud enough it echoed off the brick walls of the cafeteria, ever since then Richie felt close to him.. It was weird, It was clear that Richie got on Eddie's nerves everyone knew it but seeing his brown eyes glaring at Richie made his heart swell.. He liked Eddie's attention even if it was him being mad.

The drive home was short enough to not be boring but once Richie opened the door to his house he was met with nothing, no noise or anything.. He wasn't surprised, everyday for the past year he has been coming home to an empty house it was like his parents didn't even want to be home. At first Richie didn't mind, at least he could eat what he wanted and watch tv without being yelled at for it being too loud but now it just felt weird, he wanted his parents home.. He wanted the sit down on the couch and watch shitty shows with his dad watching him laugh at the dumbest shit, he wanted to walk into the kitchen and grab a pop just to hear his mother lecture him about eating healthier..

They never wanted to talk to Richie about what was happening but he wasn't dumb, he remembers the amount of times he woke up to use the washroom only to see his dad asleep on the couch empty beer bottles littering the coffee table, then the next morning the two acted like nothing happened giving each other a quick kiss goodbye before leaving for work.. He hated how the treated him like a child like if he knew the truth he would break or something, Richie had been living through awful shit his whole life and yet he still tries to forget about it remembering he had an amazing group of friends..
