"We'll meet again soon. I prefer not to share my predictions, however, I can offer one of my own that much." The man smiled as he watched the boy fade away in front of him, beyond the field that imprisoned him.
Once the last specs of his visitor disappeared, he sighed as he stretched and sprawled out on his back. "Perhaps "soon" wasn't the best way to put it." he chuckled, red eyes idly tracing along the aurora shining vibrantly above, but even with his focus elsewhere, he didn't fail to notice the presence around him.
"So, are you ever going to come out of your rift, or did you plan on sitting there and watching me for the next decade? Not that I could blame you, of course." he called out with a smug grin.
"You give yourself way too much credit, y'know that?" In response, a snicker reverberated from all directions, before the space outside the man's containment cracked like glass, and the pieces flaked away to reveal a spiraling tunnel. From that tunnel, a figure slowly floated out, offering a light wave, "Hey there, Nin. How's been your day?"
"Hm. Correct me if I'm wrong, seeing as my sense of time is completely shot after all this time, but I believe the day has only just begun, Sirpa."
"Heh! Yeah, you got me." The Elemental Lord of Space and Time raised his hands, as if he had been caught in the middle of some crime, "But, hey, what better way to start a conversation, amirite?"
The man let out a laugh as he sat up. Meanwhile, Sirpa took a sitting position in the air, "You know, when I first met Roxul, I thought something about him felt familiar, but I didn't think he'd be involved with you of all people. Guess you've got some pretty deep roots, O' Great Ancestor, Ninsiku!"
"Hmph. Had it been anyone else using my name and title with such a mocking tone, I'd have turned them to ash even through this barrier, so-called "King of Spirits"." Ninsiku glared despite the smile on his face, but all the while, Sirpa gave a lighthearted smile and a goofy chuckle in response. "But, regardless, let's pick up where we left off. I believe, we were discussing this new master of yours."
Sirpa's smile seemed to brighten at that, remembering fondly where they left their previous conversation, "Oh, right! Well then, Mr. Ninsiku Lo Enki; allow me to go on about why you, me and my newfound best buddy should be pals!"

After spending the rest of the afternoon taking apart monster corpses, Radriel and Roxul headed back to the inn the elf had booked for the both of them.
Oddly enough, Roxul seemed uncharacteristically quiet after they had gotten done with work, and had curled up in his blankets with Pup beside him almost as soon as the both of them got done eating.
While the rest of the Spark Fangs made a comfy pile on the bed on the other side of the room, Radriel sat at the desk, Pairih sat atop it, a faint light emitting from his hands as he laid them on her now-repaired exoskeleton.
"And... that should do it!" he grinned, pulling his hands away from her to admire his work.
He slouched in the chair, wiping a bit of sweat from his forehead. The scales he had pulled from one of the monsters earlier that morning had proven to be pretty useful in repairing the large insect's body, the metallic alloys in them blending well with her own.
Of course, they bore the flaw of being incomparable to genuine Magisteel, however, infusing the bits of metal with his Magicules had served to bring them as close as one could get. Ultimately, it was another temporary solution he had taken up until he could find some of the actual stuff. Though, he already had a few ideas swimming in his head.
