Those two days went by so fast and today I was going to my uncle's house for the reason why I am here all alone. Currently I was in the car with my cousin who came to pick me up from Elder Mother's home. "When are my brothers coming?" I asked him. "In 2-3 days." He replied and I nodded. I didn't wanted to come alone here that's why I requested my brother to come and also my Elder Brother.

When we reached there, I greeted everyone and my younger cousin Aman came to me. "Are you excited for the evening?" I asked him. "Ofcourse I am. I don't remember when was the last time I attended a wedding." He said to me giving me his toothy smile. "I know right." I said. "Hey, come with me. I want you to meet someone." He said and started pulling me to the terrace. "But who?" I asked him trying to keep up with his pace. "Come and I will show you." He said and then told me to go on the terrace and went on side of the balcony to call that person. I waited for him on the terrace and when he came he said, "He is busy right now. But I will tell him to meet you in the ceremony." He said and I nodded. "Then let's -" he was cut off by a loud squeal. "Kavya." I turned around and saw my friend, Ruhi. "When did you came?" She asked me while showing her wide smile. "Just now in afternoon. How are you?? How's the preparation going on?" I asked her. "I am fine. The preparations are going well, infact in few minutes I will go to help sis to get ready." She said. Ruhi was our neighbour. There were two houses attached to our house, one of Ruhi and the other in which that unknown lives whom my cousin wanted me to meet. "Shall I also come to help you?" I asked her and she nodded happily. That's why I jumped on her terrace. "Woah! When did you became so daring?" My cousin asked. "Shut up. You go now and tell Aunty that I am at Ruhi's place." I told him and he nodded and left from there. Ruhi and I went downstairs to her sister's room. Yes, today is her sister's engagement ceremony and that's why I have came here all alone. Ruhi was telling me about who else came for the ceremony. Then we both went to her sister's room and helped her in getting ready.
After an hour when we were done with our work, Ruhi said, "You should also go now and get ready. The ceremony will start in an hour." I nodded and left from there.

When I came home, I saw Aman already dressed up and was so excited to go. "Calm down, my little monster. Have some patience. We will go there very soon." I said to him and ruffled his hair. "Kavu, go and get ready. We will be leaving in few minutes." My sis said and I quickly went into my room to change. Whoever's wedding it must be, one thing is always common and that is the excitement of girls for wearing new dresses. I was also excited to wear the dress that I have been wanting to wear from so many days.

Then I did my makeup, not much just a little touch up that's all. Later, sis came and made my hairstyle.

I wanted to match everything that's why I was having the earrings of the same colour and even the heels.

After everyone was ready, we all left to Ruhi's home. Because I already came so the decorations didn't affected me, but Aman's jaws were literally on the floor. Sis went Ruhi's sister room and I went to Ruhi because Aman said that he is going to find that person whom he wants me to meet. I don't understand why he is so eager.

Ceremony was about to start and everyone was gathered in the hall. Aunty told me to find Aman, but I was with Ruhi so I couldn't go anywhere that's why I texted him to come fast and immediately got a reply that he is coming. "Kavya, bring the engagement rings." Ruhi's mother said to me and I nodded and left to bring the rings.

When I came back, I stood near the couples. Ruhi came and gave the rings to both of them and later they exchanged the rings. Ruhi and I both came back to our place as Uncle started to say something to all the guests. I was listening to him, when someone poked me from behind. I turned around resulting in crashing a hard chest. "Oh, sorry for moving aside." I looked beside me and saw Aman scratching his neck in embarrassment. I looked up to see with whom I just collided and met with a pair of brown orbs looking deeply at me. "Kavya." The person and just then I realised that it was none other than Dhruv. "Dhruv, Aap yha kya kr rhe hai?"(What are you doing here?) I asked him completely confused at his sudden appearance. "Oh, Nice to meet you too again." He said sarcastically and I glared at him. "I am here to attend the wedding, remember." He said and my eyes widened. "So you are saying that you came here to attend this wedding." I said to him and he nodded. "Umm..guys, I think you are forgetting me." We looked beside and saw Aman standing there with his hands on his hips, he is looking cute. "How do you both know each other?" He asked. "We met in train." We both replied at the same time. "How do you know him?" I asked Aman. "He is our neighbour for God's sake Kavya. I was talking about him only." He said and I nodded in acknowledgement. "So, she is your sister." Dhruv said to Aman and he nodded. "What are you guys doing here?" Ruhi came behind me and asked. "Dhruv, where the hell were you?" She asked him. "Sorry Ruhi, I was with Aman." He replied. "It's ok. Now, guys when we all are here why don't we have our time." Ruhi said excitingly. "Naah, Main nhi aa rhi. Main thak gyi hun." (Naah, I am not coming. I am tired. ) I said to her and she became sad. "You haven't talked to me properly in the past one year. It's like you have completely changed." She said looking at me with her almost teary eyes. I sighed and nodded. "Okay, fine. Now stop that voice of yours." I told her and she immediately smiled widely.
