Haunted Palace Pt.2

Everyone was still looking for Kavya. They all heard a noise from the hall, so they all went their only to find Kavya standing in the middle of the hall with a terrified look. Dhruv quickly went to her and pulled her in a hug.

Kavya was surprised when she was pulled in a hug by Dhruv. "Where the hell were you?" Dhruv asked her. "Dhruv." She said and pulled away from the hug. “Kya hua?" (What happened?) Dhruv said. "Vha upr kuch ho rha hai. Mtlb... kuch to glt kaam chl rha hai upr." (There's something going on upstairs. I mean... there's something wrong going on.) Kavya said as they all frowned. Rohan and Aman were also there till now. "What do you want to say Kavya?" Rohan asked. "First let's go outside. Yha se bahr chliye sb phir hum bta rhe hai." Kavya said and they all went outside the palace. No one said anything but they were now relieved that they were outside that palace. Kavya opened her bag and took out a new lock and put it on the palace door. "Tu lock le kr aayi thi?" Ruhi asked her. (You brought the lock?) "Ha, vo Hume lga ki tala todna pd gya agr to hume vaps bhi to kuch lgana pdega na, isliye hum lock le kr aaye the." (Yes, I thought that if we would have to break the lock then we have to put another one that's why I brought one.) Kavya said and they nodded in acknowledgement. One last time, Kavya looked at the palace and signalled all of them to let's get away from there.

"What the hell are you talking about? Aisa kaise ho skta hai?" Aman said. "Aisa ho rha hai." Kavya replied back to him. "But vha to lock lga hua tha na. To phir?" Anuj asked. "Anuj jb hum andr gye the tb hum taale ko tod kr andr gye, kyunki hmare paas key nhi thi. Kaun janta hai ki unke pas key nhi hogi ya hogi." (Anuj, when we went inside we broke the lock because we were not having the key. But who knows if they are having it or not.) Kavya tried to reason it to him. So basically, Kavya told them that there were people in the palace who were doing some wrong business. They all were outside Kavya's house. It was already half past 2 AM. "But agr aisa kuch hai to phir Hume police ko inform krna pdega."(But if there's something like that then we have to inform the police.) Dhruv said and everyone nodded. "Police ko inform krne ka thik hai pr humare pas proof bhi to nhi hai." (We will inform the police but we don't have proof.) Ruhi told them. "Proof hai humare pas." Kavya said and Rohan also joined her. "Proof mere paas bhi hai." "Aapke pas kha se proof aaya? Aap to mere sath the." Aman asked Rohan. "Jb hum vaps in sb ke pas ja rhe the tb. Tu already aage tha mere se aur jb maine dekha tha tb mujhe ek room mein kuch chije dikhi to maine photo click kr liya." (When we were coming back to everyone. You were already very ahead of me, that's when I noticed something in a room and took its photo.) Rohan explained it to Aman who nodded. "So what do we do now?" Ruhi asked. "Anuj, let's inform the Police about it." Dhruv said and Anuj nodded. "Nhi, nhi. Aap log police ke pass nhi jayenge. Police ke sath involved hona mtlb, is pure matter ka investigation. Aur investigation hogi to police humse to puchne aayegi hi na. Hme investigation se problem nhi hai. The main problem is family members. Hum unhe Bina kuch btaye Aisa nhi kr skte. Hume kisi ko to involve krna pdega." (No, no. You both are not getting involved with Police. Getting involved with Police means investigation of this whole matter. And if investigation happens then surely we will be asked about what we saw. I don't have problem with the investigation. The main problem is family. We have to involve someone from family in this.) Ruhi said and Kavya agreed with her. "Don't worry about that. One of our neighbour is an inspector. I can talk to him." Anuj said but Kavya snapped at him.  "Ha to neighbour hai to kya? Aur sbse bdi problem ki vo padosi hai. Agr tumhari family mein se kisiko bta diya to? News hmari family tk apne aap aa jayegi. Hum risk nhi le skte. Investigation nhi krenge? Chlo Maan liya ki humse puch-tach secretly Hui. Pr kisiko pta chl gya to? Shaadi hone wali hai dii ki. Hum yha bawal nhi kr skte. Agr kisiko bhi khbr Hui ki hum log police ke sath involve hue hai, aag ki trh failegi ye khbr, aur phir shaadi mein tamasha hoga vo alg. Nhi, hume dii ki shaadi mein koi tamasha nhi chahiye." (So what if he is a neighbour? And the biggest problem that he is a neighbour. What if he told anyone about this in your family? The news will automatically come to our families. We can't take that risk. If he is a neighbour he won't do the investigation? And let's agree for once that the investigation is happening secretly. But what if someone gets to know about it? Sis is getting married. We don't want problems. If anyone gets to know about it that we are involved with the police, the news will spread like fire, and then there will be drama in the wedding. No, I don't want any drama in sis's wedding.) Kavya said to them. "Shi keh rhe hai ye dono. Agr kisiko pta chl gya glti se to shaadi mein tamasha hona pkka hai. Phir log ye nhi dekhenge ki hum kyu involve hue hai police ke sath. Log ye dekhenge ki hum ladki Wale hai aur hum police ke sath involve hue hai kisi matter mein to iska mtlb humne kuch glt kiya hai." (They both are right. If anyone gets to know about it, then surely there will be drama in the wedding, guaranteed. Then they will not see as for why we are involved with the police, they will see that we are from the girl's side and we are involved with the police that means we have done something wrong.) Aman said and Kavya, Rohan, Ruhi were shocked. Their little brother was talking logically for once in the life but for now they kept aside this thing. "To ab hum kya kre?" Anuj asked. Kavya just stood their thinking of any way. They have to involve anyone in this matter then only everything will be fine. She was thinking when suddenly Anuj, Ruhi and Aman started panicking while looking behind Kavya.
"Shit!.....…......"
