The girls were scared, on the thought that what if Dhruv came here before the time, but the sudden voice brought relief to their souls. "Dhruv what are you doing here?" Rohan asked him. "Actually I wanted to ask something to Kavya, regarding the school." Dhruv replied. "Ohh, you can ask me also. Actually, Kavya is at Ruhi's home. They are planning for the wedding." Rohan said and their voice started becoming distant. Kavya and Ruhi released the breath they were holding from so long. "Bach Gaye." (We are safe.) Ruhi said to Kavya and she just nodded, not able to say anything. "Let's finish this quickly." Kavya said and they both again started doing their work.

After few minutes, when everything was prepared, Ruhi went upstairs to check on the preparation done by Anuj and Aman and also to yell at them for making so much noise.
Kavya was still in the kitchen, when she heard someone's footsteps in the hallway. Thinking it must be Rohan, she decided to go and scold him for disappearing suddenly.

Dono daatne chli gyi, bechare hmare boys 🤧

As the lights were off, she couldn't see anything properly. "Shit! Ye light off karna jruri tha kya?" (Was it necessary to turn off the lights?) Kavya said to herself. She started going to the switch board to turn on the light, but suddenly someone came infront of her scaring the life out of her. "Aaaahhhhhh!!!" She screamed on top of her lungs and started going back but stumbled upon her steps and she started to fall backwards but she held the person's hand making that person fall with her. She landed with a loud thud on the floor but the other person instinctively acted and placed his hand behind her head so that she doesn't gets hurt. "Kya ho gya?? Kaun mr gya?" (What happened? Who died?) Came a loud voice of Rohan who switched on all the lights of the hall and was standing at one end of the hall. After hearing the scream, the others Ruhi, Anuj and Aman also came there and looked at the scene with their jaws wide open. All the four shared a knowing look, while smirk played on their faces.

Meanwhile, here Kavya has closed her eyes while falling and they were still closed tightly and she was clutching on to Dhruv's shirt. And on the other hand, Dhruv's one hand was behind her head and other was beside her on the floor to maintain his balance.

He looked at her face with an unknown smile playing on his lips, and the world seemed to fade around him as he looked at Kavya's face and noticed her features. Her brows creased together due to the sudden movement. Her cheeks which were having pimples on them, but they added more on to the beauty of her face making her cheeks rosy. Her mole near the left ear and on the left jaw, captivated his attention and then his fluttered to her reddish lips which were slightly opened looking more inviting them ever.

Feeling not much pain on her head, Kavya slowly opened her eyes only to meet with the brown orbs which has came in her dreams way too often, which has made her mind a complete message just by it's thought. Being in such a close proximity as him, the world around was long forgotten. His breath tingling her, made her heart beat rise and his extremely handsome features were not helping at all. He was handsome, not in that bookish way but surely he could stand out in the crowd because of his appearance. When he licked his lips, something inside her started burning with an unknown feeling, more like a desire.

Both of their dreamlands were broken by the group surrounding them. "Ho gya ek dusre ko dekhna?" (Are you both done seeing each other?) Ruhi asked in a loud voice to bring them out of their thoughts. They both quickly got up, and looked here and there not meeting each other's eyes. "Yaar, hum surprise Dene Wale the. Pr idhr to hum hi surprise ho gye. 12:05 ho gye hai." (We were going to surprise, but here we got a surprise. It's 12:05 AM) Aman said in a little frustrating tone which made Kavya realise about the situation. "Shit! Tum sb jao hum inhe le kr aa rhe hai." (You all go, I'll bring him.) She said to them and they all nodded and went upstairs leaving a confused Dhruv with Kavya. "Ab aap hmari baat suniye. Aisa pretend kijiyega ki aapko kuch nhi pta hai, ki aap yha kya kr rhe hai. Aapko surprise hona hai aur agr aap nhi hue na to hum aapka muh tod denge." (Now you listen to me. You have to pretend as if you didn't know and heard anything. You have to be surprised and if you didn't I will punch your face.) Kavya said to him in a threatening voice. He frowned and said, "Ye kya jabardasti hai?" But quickly shut his mouth after receiving a glare from her.

She took him upstairs, where all the lights were off and no one was in the view. "Where did they all go?? They came here, right?" Dhruv asked Kavya who was behind him. "Happy Birthday." Came her whisper which sent a chill down his spine and then everyone came out with a wide smile. "Happy Birthday Dhruv." They all said in unison. "You all planned this for me?" He asked amazed by the preparation done. They all nodded their heads vigorously. "Wait." Kavya said and gave her phone to him. She was on a video call with his parents, they greeted Dhruv and gave him their blessings. After the call ended, Kavya and Ruhi went downstairs to bring all the things they prepared. "Okay, guys let him cut the cake now." Ruhi said as they all gathered around the cake looking like hungry lions. Kavya handed the knife to Dhruv who gave her a small smile which made her heart almost come out of her body. As he cut the cake, they all sang happy birthday together. Then he fed the cake to everyone and after the cake cutting the other things were served to them. "How was the cake?" Ruhi asked Dhruv. "Yummy." He replied with a grin. "Kavya made it." She quickly said making Kavya glare at her. "Really?" He asked surprised. She just nodded with a nervous laugh. As the night dawned on, everyone enjoyed while, talking, dancing, singing and doing crazy things and later they all slept their only.

Next morning, they made a plan to go somewhere together. "Kha Jaye?" Kavya asked excited. "Tu kyu itna excited hai be? Dhruv ka birthday hai, lekin behave tu birthday girl jaisa kr rhi hai." (Why are you so excited? It's Dhruv's birthday but you are behaving like the birthday girl.) Ruhi said eyeing her suspiciously. "Aree ghumne mein mja aata hai." It's fun in going somewhere.) Kavya said happily while the others shook their heads at her cuteness.

They all went to a museum first and later on went to watch a movie and that too a horror one, in which Kavya and Ruhi were hiding in more than half of the movie. And the people there were giving them weird looks.

In evening when they all came back, they sat outside Kavya's house for few minutes. Suddenly a mischievous idea popped into Kavya's mind. "Guys, I have a plan for tonight." She said excitingly. "What?" Anuj asked her. "How about we all go to the haunted palace near our house?" She said with a wide grin. "I am in." Ruhi said happily. The others looked at them with 'are you serious' look. "Yeah, after what happened in the theatre, right?" Rohan mocked them. "Well, we were not ready for that. But we are ready for this. Please." Kavya said and Ruhi also joined her in requesting. The boys agreed with their idea and Kavya told them that she will message on the group about when they will go. Later, Anuj left for his home. Ruhi went to her house and Dhruv left for his house. And the three cousins went to their house.
