Next Morning.

Deepa's House.

After doing her morning routines, Deepa came to the living room and saw Prakash reading newspaper and enjoying his morning chaya (means tea in malayalam).

"Acha, when did you come back?" Deepa sat cross legged beside him held his arm coquettishly.

Prakash patted her head gently and said, "Just an hour ago. Did you sleep well yesterday?" Prakash asked as he fixed his eyes on the newspaper but he didn't read anything.

"Yesterday...." Deepa thought about the abnormal night and hesitated to speak. She is still not sure whether she had a nightmare or was that just an illusion.

"Any bothering you, Kanna?" Prakash turned his head and looked at his daughter. He could read what she means from her eyes. In an angle she can't notice, his hands trembled slightly and then clenched the paper tightly.

"Acha, actually I ---"

"Acha!!! You're back!!!" Daisy came out of her room and was delighted to see her dad. She excitedly hugged his neck from behind and kissed his cheek, "Acha, I missed you!!!"

Soon Radhika called them all to have breakfast, and Deepa and Prakash couldn't continue what she was going to say.

Deepa wasn't much bothered. Having nightmare is normal and she might remembered something wrongly.

But, unaware to her, Prakash was always paying attention to her throughout the morning. He only breathed in relief when he was sure that she wasn't bothered about anything.

That day, Prakash has go to work again so he accompanied Deepa and Diya to the school. They both are in the same school and he could drop them on his way.

Daisy's school is just a few metres away from the Blue Street, she usually go with her friends and their school time is also different.

Before Hope HSS School.

Prakash dropped them at the gate and he left after making sure that they safely entered inside. Diya saw her friends on the way and said bye to Deepa and left with them.

Deepa walked towards the HSE compound alone. She cherish her time alone and is not comfortable with talking with others in all way. There is still more than half an hour for the first bell and a few students had arrived now.

This moment, Deepa is the only one in the compound. She was kicking away the stones with her foot as she walked and didn't noticed that someone is walking in the same way as her.

Her eyes were on the ground and she was confused when she noticed a black leather shoe in her line of vision. She raised her head and was caught off-guard in a pair of deep black eyes.

"Good morning, sir." She greeted immediately when she saw it was her teacher.

"Good morning." Anil smiled in greetings and with his long legs he immediately passed by her and disappeared from her line of sight, and Deepa also went to her class.

That was the first time they both had a word with each other and that was all.

Since the syllabus are little wide and the time is limited, teachers are busy in completing lessons and they don't have time to mingle with students in class.

During the two years, Deepa and Anil seldom talked with each other. The most time they spent together maybe because of the doubts she asked him after the period ended. Even that was less than ten minutes and other than a good impression of a smart student and Impressive teacher, there was nothing else between them.
