Chapter 44 - Engagement 2

When Yadhav Family arrived, the decorations and other arrangements wasn't ready yet. Since they are using fresh flowers for decoration and poojas, they will be ready only by early morning.

Gowri helped them to find their rooms and let them get some rest before starting their discussions for tomorrow.
The three sisters were in the same room. After other's left, Deepa and Diya unpacked their luggages and arranged them in the closet.

While the restless Daisy:

"Chechi, look at this! How beautiful!!!"

"Wow! This painting looks incredible!"

"Diya chechi, look at here!"

"Chechi, this one..."

"Chechi, that...!"

Daisy disappeared from one corner and appeared at another in the blink of an eye, like a little stupid who never saw world.

"...."

Deepa and Diya looked at eachother helplessly and laughed. She never change!

**ring...ring...**

Diya looked at her mobile phone and smiled shyly, which caught Deepa's attention.

"Kiran ha?" Deepa playfully raised her eyebrows at her sister.

"Yeah, chechi...Uhm... I will be back quick." Diya took her phone and ran out.

"Chechi, I want to bath~" Daisy removed her shawl and threw it on the bed.

Deepa took a pair of neat clothes for her, "Bathroom is there. Don't take too much time. We have to go down."

"Okieee" Daisy happily went to the bathroom with some elegant dance steps.

In the balcony outside their room.

Deepa walked along the way and looked at the courtyard. Some workers were bringing groceries, and other items in sacks for tomorrow's function.

Suddenly a smooth breeze passed by her, making her untied hair strings fly freely. She closed her eyes and raised her chin slightly, relaxing the mood she rarely gets.

So peaceful... She whispered to herself.

**Honk...honk**

"Uhm?" Deepa opened her eyes and gazed down, and saw a black SUV entering the courtyard, followed by another BMW.

The black SUV parked before the house.
An old age couple exited from the SUV, and family of four from the BMW.

"Relatives?" Deepa tried to see them, but before she could see further,

"Chechi!! Can you come here for a moment, please?" Daisy shouted from the bathroom.

"Coming!" Deepa turned around and went inside, missing the site of someone she knew exiting from the driver seat of the SUV.

"Akhila, Shekhar, why didn't you tell us you were coming today?" Ambika and Gowri came to them in hurry, shock and surprise was all over their face.

"We wanted to surprise you guys. I guess it worked out well." Akhila smiled and held Ambika's hand.

Ambika fixed her gaze on her dear sister-in-law, who is also her bestfriend with tears in he eyes.

When was the last time she met Akhila?

10 years ago?

After Akhila went to Spain for treatment, no one from here went to visit her. Mainly cuz even if they went, they couldn't see Akhila.

By the time Akhila received a suitable kidney and transplanted it, her health was greatly reduced. Followed by severe infections and other physical problems, so no one was allowed to visit her.

Thank goodness, she is okay! She is fine.... Very good...

Ambika was already shedding tears. Akhila,who knows her bestfriend best, wiped her tears and hugged her.

"We promised each other, dear one. We won't leave alone."

Yeah, we did....

Ambika smiled faintly amd hugged her back.

Behind them, Chandrashekhar, Abhishek, Ramya, Gayathri and Goutham (Gayathri's brother) wiped their tears as well.

Akhila's comeback was a great miracle indeed...

Meanwhile, Anil Ramachandran who just came there after parking and taking their luggages out, was speechless to see the whole family wiping tears:
