Our parents act so strong for us
That we usually forget the reality
How fragile their heart actually is
And we keep making a scar on itNo matter how many gifts you get
On birthday or on valentine's day
But that one gift you must cherish
Is dad who always believed in youNo matter how many people come
Either on social media or in real life
But that one person you must adore
Is a mom who always sticked to youNever complain to your parents
'Bout what they couldn't give you
Because what they've given you
Is more than what they really hadNowadays we're busy growing up
Making career and finding partner
We forget about the rusting rubies
The parents are also growing oldAnd then someday in the future
You will want to turn back young
Not to change anything suitably
But to again feel some momentsNo matter how old a child turns
They'll not stop needing their dad
No matter how smart a child gets
They'll still ask mom to do a workTime decides whoever you meet
Heart decides whoever you want
Behavior decides who'll be staying
But parents remain no matter what
