The bell rung indicating it was lunch.

I walked to my locker to put away my books. I headed over to Ashton's locker to wait for him. After a few minutes, being my impatient-self, I decided to go to the cafeteria.

I walked to the line up, scanning the lunch room to find the familiar blue-eyed, brunette boy, I knew. I paid for my food and found Ashton sitting closest to the window.

"Ashton!"

Ashton looked up from the book he was reading and started smiling, showing off his dimples.

"Hey, have you seen Carly," Ashton asked.

Carly was one of my only two friends. Carly dated Ashton for about 3 months but they decided to break up because neither of them had any time to date. Luckily, they are still really good friends.

"No, I thought she was with you. You know I was waiting for you at your locker," I said.

"Aw, you were waiting just for me? How sweet of you," Ashton said.

I lightly punched him.

"I didn't want to walk to the cafeteria alone and your the closest to my locker."

"Ow! That hurts! Your so mean," Ashton said scrunching up his face and rubbing his arm, pretending like I actually hurt him.

"Don't be such a wimp. I didn't punch you that hard."

"Hey! Who you calling a wimp? Oh yeah, you owe me food," Ashton said.

"No, I don't."

"Yeah you do, you took my breakfast. I was hungry all morning."

"YOU PRACTICALLY TICKLED ME TO DEATH. I DON'T OWE YOU ANY THING."

"Well, that's what you get for taking my food. Now gimme!"

"Hell to the no. My dad was still in the house this morning so, I didn't get the chance to make myself breakfast. The silence is still awkward." I said moving my food to the other side of the lunch table.

"Well... then in that case, I'll let you off with one last warning."

All of a sudden, Ashton jumped up and reached for something on the other side of the table. That's when I realized he was reaching for my French fries, but before I could stop him he already had a handful of fries in his mouth.

"EW! Ashton, it's all over your face," I heard a girl say.

I looked up and it was my red-headed friend, Carly.

Ashton quickly ate my fries and wiped his mouth with my napkin.

"Not my fault, she took my food and wouldn't give me back some."

"Typical Ashton," Carly said, rolling her eyes.

"So, why are you late for lunch," I asked.

"What did you do this time," Ashton asked right after.

Carly slapped Ashton's head.

"I'm not always in trouble,"  Carly said.

"Then, why are you late," I asked.

"Okay, this time I got in trouble but it was because of that bitch, Abby. She kept on insulting me about my hair and clothes so, I called her a whore in front of the whole class and how she fucked every boy in our school and how she was probably pregnant when she was 14 but had an abortion, you know stuff like that."

Abby was the sluttiest slut in our school. She's also the most popular girl, too. Carly hates Abby so much because in the 10th grade a hot, Canadian boy was going to ask her out but every time when he tried Abby pulled him away. He ended up asking Abby out but after 2 months, he found out Abby was cheating on him so, he broke up with her. He then, asked out Carly but she refused to go out with him anymore because she didn't want to be a second choice.

"HAHAHAHA! OH MY GOD! ARE YOU SERIOUS," I said.

"Yeah, I'm serious and she deserved it," Carly said, taking some of my food.

"HAHAHAH! WHAT DID HER FACE LOOK LIKE," Ashton asked.

"Her face was all red and looked like this," Carly said, making a face like she was embarrassed with her mouth opened.

We all broke out in laughter.

After a couple of minutes of we stopped laughing because our stomach hurt from laughing too hard.

"So, are you going to come over tonight, Laura," Carly asked.

"Nah, I'm going to stay home."

"I can come over tonight, if you know what I mean," Ashton said, making a creepy face.

RRRRRIIIIIIINNNGGGGGG!

"Well, bye guys, see you after school."

"Bye."
