*Wednesday Morning*

"LAURA! Hurry up!"

"Hold on!"

"I gave you a hoodie and a pair of jeans! Not a whole closet to pick your clothes!"

"I know give me a second!"

I quickly applied my mascara, Carly gave me.

"Okay, I'm done."

"Jesus, you take so freaking long!"

"Calm down. I only took 15 minutes."

"Alright, my mom is waiting for us in the car."

We head to the parking lot.

"Hey, Tracy."

Tracy was Carly's mom. Tracy had nice, wavy blonde hair. She had hazel eyes and was about 5'7.

"Hi Laura, you okay now?"

"I'm okay, that's why they let me out."

Carly's mom laughs.

"Yes, but I'm just checking."

"Mom, can you turn on the radio," Carly asks.

She turns on the radio and my jam comes on, Troublemaker by Olly Murs.

Carly and I sing and laughing together all the way to Carly's house.

"We're home," Carly shouts when we enter her house.

"BIG HEAD'S HOME!"

"Shut up, you little brat," Carly says to Matthew.

Matthew was Carly's 9 year old brother. Matthew was the cutest 9 year old ever, he had the bluest eyes, dimples, and a blonde.

"Carly, don't call you brother a brat, and Matthew, don't call you sister a big head," Carly's father says.

"Hey Laura, we are glad to have you here in our home," Carly's father says with a smile.

"Thank you," was all I could come up with, I was never much of a talker.

"We will be upstairs in my room," Carly said.

I tagged along and ran upstairs to her room.

"So, whatcha wanna do?"

"I have no idea, I'm so tired."

"Tired? You slept for a week. You’re kidding me right?"

"Nah, I'm serious. Did everything really burn in my house?"

"Pretty much, yeah, but I think half of your room was fine."

"When can I get the stuff that wasn't burnt?"

"Umm...I think Ashton has it, so when he comes back."

"Argh, I need my phone! Do you have a old phone I can borrow?"

"Hold on, let me ask. DAD! DO WE HAVE AN OLD PHONE LAURA CAN BORROW?"

"YES! COME DOWNSTAIRS!"

Carly and I run downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Here, you go," Carly's dad said, handing me an old IPhone.

Carly's dad was a redhead, with blue eyes. He was about a head taller than Carly. He usually wore  a dress shirt and trousers but today he looked more causal, wearing a baseball jersey and jeans.

"Thank you, so much and thank you for letting me stay here."

"No, it's a pleasure to have you here, your going to have to stay here until your house is all fixed up," he says giving me a sympathetic smile.

I just gave him a small smile and nod.

"Well, you had everything planned out didn't you dad," Carly said.

"Your mom and I both did. Speaking of your mom, she went to buy the groceries, so if you need anything go give her a ring."
