The Morning
Protester: Equality now! Equality now! We want equality now!
The trio were stirred awake by the loud noises from the protester Korra and Ezra had met on their first day in the city. But when they awoke, two of them found themselves in a precarious situation.
Korra had somehow leaned her head on Ezra's shoulder and the Jedi's head laid on her's. Their eyes slowly widened as they realized their situation before both shuffled away from each other, the Avatar stammering while the Jedi had a bit of red dusting his tanned cheeks. Mako looked on with a raised eyebrow.
Protester: Non-Benders of Republic City.
The trio snapped out of their awkward state as they looked and saw the protester continue to, well, protest in the park, Amon's poster behind him. Korra pointed toward him.
Korra: That's the guy.
Ezra: And it doesn't look like he's gotten any quieter.
Ezra groaned, rubbing his ears.
Protester: Amon calls you to action. Take back your city. It's time for the–
He was cut off when his megaphone was wrenched from his grip and flew across the air, landing in the hands of a very annoyed Jedi.
Ezra: Could you please stop doing that so early in the morning?
The protester ignored him as he gasped in recognition when he saw Korra walk up to him.
Protester: It's you again.
He then pulled another megaphone from his jacket and yelled straight in the three's faces.
Protester: You cannot silence me Avatar.
Ezra: She can't. But I can.
Ezra then once again used the Force to push the megaphone from his hand, sending it crashing to the ground.
Korra: Shut your yapper and listen up. My friend got kidnapped by some Chi-Blockers last night. Where'd they take him?
Protester: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Korra: Oh I think you do.
She then Earthbended the table he was standing on into the air, thankfully he stepped off it in time. Hundreds of the fliers he had went flying into the air. The protester knelt on the ground and began picking them up. Mako caught one of the fliers and began to read.
Mako: 'Witness the Revelation, tonight at 9:00'? What's this revelation?
Protester: Nothing that concerns you three.
Korra then lifted him by his shirt and held him in the air. Ezra was surprised at Korra's raw strength. Guess she worked out.
Korra: You better believe it concerns us. Spill it.
However, the protester remained silent, much to Korra's growing ire. She was about to say something but Ezra stopped her.
Ezra: Let me try something Korra.
Korra took a moment to look at her friend before she let him go. The protester dusted himself off as he looked at the Jedi approaching him.
Protester: What's this supposed to be? Good Bender, bad Bender? Cause let me warn you, you already soiled yourself too much for the whole good Bender role.
Ezra had a smirk on his face.
Ezra: More like good bender,
He pointed to Mako.
