Two weeks have passed and Clarke and Lexa have fallen into their own little routine. When Lexa wasn't hanging out with Costia and Clarke wasn't hanging out with her friends the two girls were joined at the hips. It's like they have known each other for years. Clarke found herself being more attached to Lexa and wanted all of Lexa's attention so whenever Costia was around Clarke felt this weird feeling and she didn't like it. Like right now Clarke and Lexa were walking to their English Lit class together. Clarke was on cloud nine. Lexa was holding her hand as she was telling Clarke about gender roles in Shakespearean Comedies. Clarke did not know a thing that Lexa was talking about but she just loved hearing her talk and how her eyes got bright when she talked about something she was passionate about.
"Clarke, are you listening to me?" Lexa asked seeing Clarke look at her in a way that made her heart beat a little faster.
"Hmmm yes but I got distracted, you have beautiful lips, Lex," Clarke said seeing the green-eyed girl blush.
"Oh... I... um, thank you?" Lexa said flustered.
Clarke just giggled as she led Lexa into the classroom and to their seats. Clarke and Lexa sat at the front of the class because Lexa preferred to sit in the front in all of her classes. Clarke watched as Lexa pulled out some glasses and put them on.
Clarke gasped because she had never seen Lexa wear her glasses. Lexa turned to look at Clarke because she heard her gasp and saw Clarke's eyes were a shade darker.
"Are you okay Clarke?" Lexa asked concerned.
"Yes, I um didn't know you wore glasses..." Clarke said squeezing her legs tighter.
"Oh yeah I usually wear my clear contacts but sometimes I break out my glasses."
Clarke just nodded and turned to pay attention to the teacher who was telling them that she had graded their papers they turned in last week. As passed out the paper she saw how nervous Lexa got. That is something Clarke recently picked up on. Lexa got nervous every time their teachers passed out work that had been graded or whenever she checked the school portal for her grades.
"Why do you always get nervous when it comes to grade Lex? You know you are going to get an A," Clarke said.
"Because Clarke I have to get an A, I haven't made anything less than an A since my freshman year.. so I get a little nervous because I don't want to mess that up. I want to be valedictorian," Lexa said and smiled as her teacher put her graded paper on the desk that had 100 written in red marker.
"Great job Alexandria and you too Clarke," Mrs. Baker said as she gave Clarke her paper that had a 95 written in a red marker.
"Yes!" Clarke said as she did a little dance in her seat, "I definitely have to send my mom a picture of this."
As class went on the two girls paid attention to their teacher and took the necessary notes they needed. Lexa looked over at Clarke whose brows were knitted and tongue slightly poked out as she contracted on writing the answer to the question Mrs. Baker just asked. That's when Lexa noticed Clarke writing with her left hand she never noticed before.
"You're left-handed," Lexa said still watching Clarke write.
Clarke looked at Lexa nodding her head and smiling.
"Awww man I wish I would have paid attention I would have celebrated Left Handers Day with you," Lexa said feeling bad.
Clarke couldn't help but laugh because Lexa seemed genuinely upset about not celebrating a day Clarke didn't even exist.
