An Emotional Turbulence

A person who has never encountered someone who is affectionate and caring would certainly feel pathetic, but things are more agonising and traumatic when the same living soul would have finally found their specific safe place before it is snatched away from them.  Apo's heart was shattered, just like the box of cookies he was holding to share and savour slipped down to  ground, his hideaway from the world seemed to be having his own small special world hidden from the others in order to safeguard its exceptionality and excusity.

The young lad sprinted behind the other one with a box of cookies sent by mama Rom as soon as he left the class;  in order to catch up and comfort him for whatever saddened him. But before he caught hold of him, the girl whom he had encountered earlier was already standing and conversing something with Mile who seemed to be angry. Before Apo would walk up to him to save him from the girl, the tension in between the two individuals  dissipated into thin air and turned into a fit of giggles followed by a warm hug. 

Apo seemed to have no place over there, all the cookies scattered on the ground looked poisonous, his stomach churned out of pain and he just stood right at the same spot with loss of what was to be done next until Jeff arrived.

"Finally found you, come on the others are waiting for us in the canteen. By the way, did you find Mile.", just as Jeff finished sentence, his eyes travelled across the direction at which Apo's gaze was fixated and found his other best friend lost in time;  embracing a girl and correcting the strands of hair which were covering her left eye.

"MILE!!!",Jeff screamed by this new discovery.

"Come on, speak up now, when did it start? ", Dana demanded with a stern face.
At present, Mile's pals seemed like prosecutors questioning the defendant couple charged of escaping from revelation of  their puppy love.

"It's not been too long guys, it began somewhere in the mid of previous term."

"PREVIOUS TERM!!!!",Bible and Jeff growled.

"Stop being dramatic you two. Mile I know you purposefully wouldn't have wanted to hide about your relationship from us but, I kinda feel sad by thinking that you didn't find us trustworthy to share about such an important matter.", Emily spoke with shear dismay.

"See I know you guys are feeling disappointed and cheated but, we both ourselves weren't sure about the type of feelings spiralling around us and when we finally came to a conclusion about it, we both were extremely shy to make any sort of announcement. We were awaiting for a proper timing to reveal about us to you guys and her best friends. Sadly, things turned out to be the worst scenario I had envisioned. Anyways", Mile stood up entangling his fingers with Preen's, "I have been in love with  Preen for quite sometime now, and she loves me back. Nobody knew about us from the start except the two of us.", he declared as a confident suitor.

Emily and Dana were impressed by the crazy romantic boy's gesture while the two boys frowned out of healthy envy. "Awwww, Miley has grown up indeed. Preen I am feeling really jealous about you right now. Also, don't you dare break his innocent heart and if you do so despite my warning, I am gonna make sure he would be my man.", Dana warned in a jesting manner.

Everyone around the canteen table guffawed at Dana's statement while a heartbroken lad just sat at the corner of the same table with his head bent. His heart was crushed just like the cookies on the ground of the hallway within a span of mere 15 to 20 minutes, the school which he believed would be a new beginning turned out to be bringing an end to something he had cherished the most. 

'What mistake had he done to deserve such a sorrowful situation?

 Was he more cruel compared to his parents who abandoned him?
