Back to school-II

Finally it was the day to get back to  school. A day for pledging new resolutions, with ambitions to succeed.

"Po, wake up we should get ready, you've gotta go to school today. "Mile urged as he kept shaking Apo, who wasn't ready to wake up. It was his first day and Mile wanted it to be perfect for Apo to create a good impression over teachers.
He was never a morning bird, and found it really hard to get out of his dream world.
Mile was awake and all set to go to school already, while Apo wasn't ready to even wake up.
"Now you cannot escape me." , he said sternly and  pulled the guy's blanket roughly.
Apo just squirmed like a cat and smiled at Mile with his eyes closed ; a face free from all kinds of worries and hastes. 
He was like an upper stream flowing down as a river at morning and like water flowing out of tap at night.
From waking him up till leaving the house ,it was filled with a compilation of Mile nagging at him from time to time and the other lad seemed to be doing his routine in a much slower pace compared to other days. All blames on time, it was the time when he would still be in his unconscious vision usually.

"Hold me tightly!! I am going to be riding faster than usual. ",he said making Apo hold on to his waist tightly; in response Apo could just chuckle.

While one was all worked up, the other was just having his own time. He never used to be stressed when he was with Mile and trusted him just as much as he trusted himself.
After crossing kudh nam kin public park and farmers market, school finally arrived. The two teens had garnered attention of other school mates even before they entered the gates of the Kalasin public school. Being the most popular and sought after student, Mile was used to all sorts of attention. Wether be it the affectionate and seductive one or be it the envious one; he was used it.

Whereas all of this seemed to be new to Apo, he never seemed to have caught an eye of admiration, until then. Although he seemed to be an extrovert, it wasn't the case. He was an extrovert just to Mile and people with whom Mile comfortably interacted with.
Apo had an eye as sharp as a cat to determine the level of closeness between his pal and the aquaintence. There were times when he was possessive as well, but it usually was unnoticed by the others.

As Mile's cycle came to halt, Jeff and Emily walked to greet the two.
"Hey, buddies how has the day been so far? ", Emily questioned looking at Mile who seemed to be exhausted and Apo who seemed nice and fresh, although his hair was slightly messed up.

" Don't even ask, you know about the problems of first days to school right?, just that this time it was combined with this guy who seems to be least worried about anything.", Mile answered glaring at Apo, who was looking around as he clenched the bottom of Mile's coat.

"Hey, don't you dare talk bad about him, it's you who pretends to be having to climb mount Everest to get to school." Jeff warned as he threw an arm around Apo's shoulder. Apo on the other hand seemed to be tensed seeing all the people and the attention of  majority seemed to be on them.

"Apo, what happened?", Mile asked in a serene tone.
In return Apo squeaked 'Mai'.
" Don't worry, you are not gonna be left out alone Jeff, Dana, Bible, Emily and of course me, we all are going to be with you."
This tiny assurance accompanied by a comforting smile, warmed Apo's heart. Although the words uttered by Mile dispersed into thin air for Apo, the thoughts and emotions he displayed were louder than any concert;  enough for the lad to gain his composure and place a kiss on his mate's cheek in return.

Kissing wasn't uncommon thing for the two, but it was a shock for the others present. Mile is a person who felt uncomfortable by physical contact, he is the sort of guy who jerked away from hugs and snatched his hand away from someone's hold,  but since the arrival of the orphan guy things had changed quite a lot and this mysterious lad did seem to have a gained a special spot inside Mile's heart.
Was it friendship? Was it brotherhood? no one could gauge.
