Nine

Lily-

Andrea was having nausea. She said she must have eaten something bad. I asked her if she wanted to rest and even took her to nurse's office. She looked weak. she said she could not participate in cheering tomorrow. I asked her if it was okay to let Rose take her place. She looked at me like I have grown two heads.

"Lily, are you sure? I mean no harm but she does not treat you like a sister. She looks at your boyfriend as if he is hers. She always looks at you like she wants to kill you. When I first met her, she was mean and rude to me. You are total opposite. Are you sure you are blood related? I never thought that. not a single thing matches."  Andrea sure talks alot. I was thinking when she grabbed my shoulders and whispered "back to earth , Lily" 

"yeah, yeah I am listening. Actually she is my step sister. Meaning her mom and my dad. . her mom got my dad drunk and had her. so that she could marry my dad but my dad was already married to my mom and she did not know. So long story short- she  is my sister." I told Andrea. I knew if I wanted to spread a news , Andrea was perfect person. "Whaaaatttttttt? " she almost shouted. "that is why there is no resemblance in you guys. she is blonde you are brunette. you guys behave differently. you are nice she is mean. hmm.. .. figures" she started munching on something. 

"So what do think about her taking your place?" I asked her main point. "yeah , I could do it for you but if she messes up, you are responsible for it. don't blame me for warning you" she said and we parted our ways..

Cheering day-

I told the group about new change and they all agreed on letting Rose in. we have 3 extras but because of me , Rose got in. They sort of questioned me like Andrea but I managed it. I wanted her to see that world does not revolve around her. 

She had a better body than me. But I worked out since I was reborn. I wanted to become strong so I learned how to fight and now I got in better shape. She never looked at me when we were practicing. she used to stare at Stephen and thus she never noticed that I got in shape. 

When we cheered , I was the Flyer for one team and she was for the other. I landed very gracefully because I practiced for it. She also did a good job but people noticed me more. I was standing there when they were looking at me. I saw that praise, admiring looks and awe in people's eyes. Then I looked at Rose. She was smiling from ear to ear. 

Nina tapped her shoulder and said something. then she looked furious. Someone came to me and asked me number. I got shy and tucked my hair behind my ear and told him that I have a boyfriend and pointed to Stephen. I saw him looking at me with love and proud feeling. his friends teasing him and he gave me a smirk. Then I saw Rose stormed off. 

She did a whole lot of scene but I kept my image. Stephen came and asked "hey babe, are you okay?we never knew this side of Rose. I never thought she had those feelings. I will never ever go near her and made her think otherwise." he consoled me and that was my plan. Rose lost him even before going for him. Whole school knew this now.so if they start dating, people will call them liars and cheaters and side with me. 

"Lily , sweetie you are different than her. I told you this before but you shrugged it off saying she would have told you. you are way too nice, she is not trustworthy. I must have slapped her more to shake some sense in her. how could she accuse you for stealing when its clearly her? She is going to pay for it" nina's voice was loud so every passing person heard what she said. 

Rose, start counting your days. every day is going to be another nightmare for you now. you will see how torment begins but I will just on the sides to watch it.I wont lift a single finger and you will burn in hell

I wiped my face. Stephen asked me to wait at parking lot. I saw Rose waiting for cab. so I went and told her that we cant be friends after all this. Shock written on her face told me that she did not expected this. Stephen came and honked. 

"babe, what are you doing? get in" he said. "yeah , just talking to her. bye Rose" I said in sad tone and sat in his car. I could see fumes coming out of her ears. Stephen gave her look and sped out of campus. "Steph, why would she say that? I tried so hard to make her my sister. you know about her mother and I did everything for her to stay.I convinced my parents and she did that to me?" I started crying again. Stephen parked the car to the road side and leaned in. he wiped my tears and said "babe she is one disgusting , spoiled brat. Trust me I never liked her, I never will. I went in to slap her but Nina beat me. I wish that slap was mine. I wanted to see her face after that bruise" his fist clenched. 

Stephen hates her now. So she would never achieve her one goal. Lily, well done . Now next goal, make her life living hell. She must taste her own medicine. 

She made my previous life a living nightmare. I was bullied. She pretended that I bullied her at home, showing them bruises and scratches she made on her own. she played a victim card. So I am going to play my pity card. People already knew her nature and now the story about her birth will spread. 

That is my chance. Rose, wait for me. Let this battle begin.
