Lily-

Andrea dropped me at home after spending whole day at hers. I saw mom,dad and Rose on dining table. "Lily, sweetie where wee you? why are you so late?" mom asked me. "mom, I skipped school and stayed with Andrea at her home. She was having difficulties with new math chapter. I taught her. Exams are in 3 weeks. She needed my help." I told half truth before Rose got a chance to tell them I skipped school. 

"how nice of you to help your friend Lily. You are a sweet child. dont forget to do your own study too. Go freshen up and join us. " she said and returned to whatever she was doing. I went in my room and freshen up. I sat on my chair and Rose offered me a glass of water. I had a flashback of my conversation with Andrea. 'do not eat or drink anything Rose offers you.She will drug it . look for red spot on glass.' I smiled at her and took the glass. I took it to the lips and saw her looking at me. I pretended to take a sip. When she was not looking at me, I exchanged glasses. nothing happened though. but I was on high alert. 

Andrea and me, we made a plan to spy on her.  Next day morning, Andrea asked me to distract her. When we were in class, I went to Lily's desk. "Rose, Do you have a minute? We need to talk, in private" I asked her. "What do you want to talk?" she asked me in annoyance. Andrea gestured me to take her out and she was standing behind Lily's back. "cmon, let's go out. People are looking. "I took her hand and dragged her out. We went out and I tried making a conversation. "Rose, are you serious with Hayden? whole school is talking about you guys. He is a playboy and he is just using you. Don't go out with him." I said like I care about her. 

"Lily, darling. why don't you mind your own business and don't poke your nose where is does not belong ?I know you are jealous about me and Hayden. Because you and Stephen are no longer talk of the town. So just between us girls, keep your mouth shut and don't tell anything to dad. Okay ?" and with that she flipped her hair , rolled her eyes and strutted off in class. I ran behind her and saw Andrea. 

Just when Rose entered, Andrea put a phone down on her desk and left. My eyes went wide.I looked at Andrea in question. She smiled and gave me thumbs up. I was wondering what she did with Rose's phone. 2 lectures went smoothly. We went in Cafeteria for lunch. Andrea grabbed my hand and took me to the garden. "What did you do with her phone? I saw her phone in your hand." I asked Andrea. "just listen." and she handed her phone to me. there was a notification. she tapped on it and we heard a conversation. Between Rose and Hayden

H- "Rose, what are planning? when is D-day? I cannot wait." 

R- "Will you please just let me be? I told you I will tell you when the time is right." 

H- " Let's do it after lunch. I am craving" 

R- "no you promised that we are over." 

H-"But that is after D-day" 

R-"have some patience. I am not going anywhere with you."

H-"just because we have a deal, I am willing to hear you. Dont mess up"

R-"yeah whatever"

I looked at Andrea. "Dont play dumb Lily. I installed an app to spy on her. Because she does not have any friend, we could not gather any info on her through. I can record her calls, look at her messages through that app." She said in victory. "Oh. that is what you did back in the class." 

"but what is she talking about? D-day?" I asked in curiosity. "May be the day when she is going to ruin you.I need to know what she is planning" She was thinking very fast. "What are you going to do when you find out? Let everyone know? " I asked her.

"I havenn't thought about it yet. Lets go with the flow." She replied. We ate our lunch in silence. We both were thinking about what possibly she could do to harm me. We came up with all sorts of ideas. and possible solutions for it. after lunch we completed our lectures and went home
