At home-Third person's view- 

Stephen and Lily came home together. Driver drove Rose home. Dad was watching news when he saw Stephen and Lily coming in." Welcome Stephen. how was your day sweetie?" dad gave Lily a side hug and Stephen shook hands with him. 

"Uncle, do you have sometime? we need to discuss somethings."Stephen asked him directly. "Sure son, why not. Greta, see the children are here. " he called his wife. "Oh honey, how was you day?" mom came and smiled at those two. "Go up and freshen up. I will bring some snacks for  you two. Stephen, you can freshen up in guest room." she pointed to the other room. 

they both came in living room at same time. Rose entered home and saw them sitting and silently started climbing stairs. "Rose, where were you? why did you come so late?" dad asked her. "I came with the driver." she replied and headed to her room. 

"Rose I hope you join us." Stephen said. her eyes lit up and she nodded. she freshened up, reapplied her makeup and donned in new clothes. She went down and sat on sofa. "So son,what do you wanted to talk about?" dad asked and Rose's smile froze. She looked at him pleadingly. "Lily, when did you get home.?"  she asked Lily to avoid the subject. "Rose, where are you manners? I asked Stephen something and you cut me." dad's stern voice rang. he never likes people with no manners but he tolerated Rose. 

"Uncle, there are few things that you must be aware about. I know Lily and I know she will never tell you about it. " he said. "Rose is constantly bullying Lily.She even slapped her today. Look at her lip and her cheek. you could clearly see the marks. her lip was bleeding. she did so many things but Lily never told anyone. Now we all see how Rose is behaving with Lily. Rose also got suspension for 2 days because she got into a fight. She somehow cancelled it.people are talking about her bad temper and foul language." Stephen told dad everything. "dad , that. .  I" Rose started defending but Stephen beats her. "She slapped Lily today because she thought Lily told people about her birth mother. Frankly speaking, everyone at school always wondered about it."

"Rose, what is this behavior? I told you that you must watch your mouth and actions. I clearly told you that I don't want another incident." dad was beyond angry. he slapped her on face , bruise started forming on her cheek. "Lily, let me see it."he lifted her face to see a busted lip and clear hand print on her cheek. "let me warn you Rose for the last time. if I get another complaint,I will send you back to the countryside where you came from." with that he stormed off. "Emma, get her ice pack. Lily's lip is also busted so an ointment for it." he then turned and said "Stephen, it was really nice of you to protect Lily. I really like the fact that you are so caring about her. I believe your marriage will be successful one." with one disappointed look at Rose and little nod of head, he left the room. 

"Why would you tell him Stephen? you knew he would react this way. Are you happy now?" Rose cried. "Lily, you told him to do it.Right? you always like this. " "Rose, Lily begged me to not tell. She is so kind to you but look at you.You don't deserve a sister like her. She asked me to not take this too seriously. but I had enough of your behavior." Stephen said and hugged Lily who was silent for whole time. "babe, get that treated. and Rose, this is the last chance I am offering you." his voice held an authority. 

Expression on Rose's face changed. Her eyes hold no emotion. she immediately changed her attitude and said "Lily, it was very wrong of me to accuse you of everything. Please forgive me. Please sister. I will never ever do anything to you again. I will be very good." she sat on her knees and cried. "Rose what are you doing? get up. I never wanted dad to know but. .  cmon , please dont do this. I feel bad when you say something like this. We are sisters." she made her stand and hugged her. Stephen seemed pleased with that and he cleared his throat. "I must take my leave and Rose dont forget what I said. I have eyes on you." Rose suddenly spoke" Stephen, I am sorry. I should not have behaved like that. I know how it must be awkward for you. can we be friends atleast? will you forgive me?" Stephen looked at Lily and she eagerly nodded yes. "just because Lily said so." he said and walked off. 

One could see the expression on two sisters face. One was calculative and other was evil. now you know which was Rose and Lily. don't you?
