Chapter 2: blizzard in manhattan

Loki woke up to absolute freezing temperatures outside. He checked his phone and apparently the high today was 2 degrees and the low was -21 degrees, not like it fazed him until he found out there was going to be a blizzard. He turned on his TV and right there was The Weather Channel announcing a huge blizzard that's going to hit all of NYC from Tuesday through Sunday morning. He groaned and realized he better go grocery shopping just in case the power goes out. He hates grocery shopping but after he showers and gets ready, he puts on his coat, gloves, hat, and scarf and heads out the door. He arrives at the grocery store and apparently everyone else heard about the blizzard too because it was total chaos in there. Loki had a list and by the time he was done he barely found everything before it was gone. "Greedy Midgardians" Loki whispered under his breath. He went up to pay and the cashier didn't seem talkative today which Loki was thankful for. He goes back to his apartment and puts away the grocery's and realized something else, he's gonna need a bunch more stuff then just food and water if the power goes out so he curses at himself and heads back out and walks in the mall to find the stuff he needs. First thing is a battery pack so he can charge his iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, and laptop. He goes in the Apple Store and finds a battery pack that can charge all 4 devices at once. Next he needs more than just a hat, gloves, coat, and scarf so he heads to a clothing store and buys some more warm clothing. He knows he's a frost giant but just in case he goes in a camping store and buys a space heater as well as a beanbag and 3 blankets. He also bought some battery powered lights and some candles as well. After he pays since Loki doesn't have a license he goes around a corner and makes sure no one can see him and teleports back to his apartment. Loki looks around and it seems like he's finally done getting the supplies and makes his dinner and goes to bed. Loki wakes up the next day to below freezing temperatures (-29 degrees) and snow falling like crazy. Loki feels prepared until the power shuts off and he realizes he could use a hot shower right about now but that's not the big problem, no the big problem is that the power was down everywhere and Loki suddenly realized he had to go to the bathroom. At first it wasn't noticeable but as time when on Loki felt it more but it's not like he could do anything about it. Around 4pm Loki really needed to go but he had to hold it because obviously nothing is gonna work and every single building is shut down so there's no point. By 5:45 Loki is bursting and can't even think straight. He doesn't know what to do and is sitting on the floor crossing his legs but he doesn't know how much longer he can last. It's 6:17 now and he's actually dying. He can't even sit still anymore and he's constantly moving. 6:39 and his floor is gonna be drenched soon if he can't figure out what he can do. 6:46 he stood up a bit but he's bending over completely and moving constantly. 6:58 and he actually is going to give up but he stays strong anyway but it's so hard because he's been holding for like fucking hours already. 7:04 he's actually about to burst and has his hands fully on his crotch and he won't stop moving. He's pretty much desperate at this point but he doesn't know what he's supposed to do since literally all the bathrooms aren't working. 7:07 he's about to give up and just let it out but he doesn't want to clean up the mess but he getting closer to NOT caring. He actually holds off for longer than he expected but at 7:48 he loses the battle. He can't even stand up straight or walk normally so he has his hands on his crotch while waddling. He opens his door and waddles down the hallway into the elevator. No one is in the lobby or outside so he makes sure no one is outside and there are absolutely no cameras and finally he lets loose. "Finally" Loki says and lets go. After 3 minutes he goes back inside and turns on his TV to watch his new favorite reality show HELL'S KITCHEN starring GORDAN RAMSEY the famous Michelin star chef. He falls asleep around 11 and wakes up the next morning and it's so freaking cold. Still doesn't faze him though so he stays up and watches his show the entire Wednesday. From Tuesday through Sunday morning all Loki was doing was watching his show. Once the blizzard  ends Loki seems kinda sad cause he can't just sit in his room watching HELL'S KITCHEN for 15 hours straight anymore but now he can take a hot shower which definitely makes up for the reality tv show thing.
