Chapter 20

Running after her is not a good idea because I couldn't even reach and I don't even have a clue where she went. My feet swent to a halt for me to breath out, huffing from exhaustion from chasing after her specially she just came from an accident and she's on the hospital-A realization hit me.

I think I went into hallucinations, napahilamos ako ng mukha. It's not even her in the first place, I'm just drunk with some dude kissing me inside of that fucking club.

Tumutulo ang pawis ko sa nuo'ng tumingin sa harapan ko, It's almost midnight and the liquors of the drink I had, vanished by my sweating body and adrenaline rush erupt.

Napaupo nalamang ako sa may gutter ng kalsada't napayuko.

"Are you okay?" Bigla akong napatingala, napatingin sa nagsalita.

"Are you unwell?" Tanong nito, nanatili naman akong nakatingin sa kanya at hindi makapa ang isasagot dito.

I saw her sigh and sit beside me on the gutter as well. Nanghalumbaba siya't nakangiting nakatingin saakin.

"Uh.." I don't know what to say but deep on my guts saying that I know her somewhere.

She got this round brown eyes, short black hair and small body, she's wearing a brown big hoodie.

"Who are you?" Nakakunot nuong tanong ko but she just pointed her index finger to me and shrugs off my question.

"Did you decide what gender really are you?" My eyes went wide, surprised by her another question. Imbis na sagutin ako'y nagtanong pa siya ulit.

"No-" I answer half way when she ask me again that my eyebrows went up.

"Did she do something wrong with you?"

"W-what?" I was stunned by her words, did she know me? Umatras ako ng kaunti ngunit nakita ko siyang napangisi't ipinatong pa niya ang kanyang mukha sa kanyang dalawang kamay, looking at me as if she's adoring me.

'Creepy lady.'

"Do you know me? Did we met before?" sunod sunod na tanong ko ngunit napahawak ako bigla sa ulo ko dahil biglang umikot ang paningin ko.

"If Sheina does not do anything wrong to you, talk to her, she doesn't even know anything either. Tanga ka para hindi makita yun, your just thinking about the past, open your eyes dimwit! She's your future, you just need to hold her hand with trust and listen."

On my blurry sight I can only hear what she was saying from the echoing voice or her on my ears but I can understand it very well. I massage my forehead while looking at her, she's pouting infront of me while blushing cutely, I sigh causing her to get serious again.

"The medicine is going to last till morning, thanks to that gay bar, my experiments improved. Hey! Aragon, it's nice to meet you-Oh! Almost forgot, she got miscarriage with your child."

I close my eyes tight for my dizziness to disappear, I heard her clear but the last sentence didn't catch a glimpse of it, my ears begun to ring that it fuckin hurts.

I felt some liquid dumped my skin but I can't focus on that right now because of the vulnerable pain I've been suffering.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras akong nakaupo't namimilipit sa sakit, nagising nalamang ako sa ganung posisyon at tumingin sa tabi ko, wala na doon ang babae.

Nakita ko nalamang ang isa kong braso na may bulak na para bang tinurukan ako ng syringe.

Napamura ako't napatakbo bigla patungong ospital. Iniisip kung anong nangyari't pakiramdam ko bigla akong nilagnat at hindi ko ito maintindihan.

Her Pov

I saw how Kristoffer run away from me, my heart sunk ang couldn't hold the tears fall from my eyes.

"Hey, it's fine, He'll comeback soon." Pagpapatahan sakin ng kapatid ko, William have a worried look on his face but I can't help it.

"Is my baby alright?" tanong ko ng may kakarampot na pag asa kahit alam na alam ko na ang sagot sa katanungan ko, I saw kuya william expression grave, my heart clenched with a sense of dread.

"Brother, what happened?" I can't no longer stay strong on what I've been expecting my voice almost trembled with fear as I reached out for my brother.

"Where's my baby? Is everything alright?"

I saw his eyes softened with compassion as he took a seat beside my bed, his hand gently clasping mine, I can feel him trembling.

"Sheina," he began, his voice thick with emotion but couldn't even say another word.

"You had a miscarriage."

Sabay kaming napalingon ni Kuya William sa pintuan, It's Ate Harper staring at us coldly.

I feel like my world seemed to come crashing down around my entire feelings as my sister's words sank in.

"Sheina."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I felt I'm being struggled to comprehend the enormity of the loss.

My loss, my baby, Kristof baby.. Our baby.

"No," I can't hold my voice it turn out to be a whisper, my voice even choked with sorrow.

"No, it can't be true. My baby..."

Sheina couldn't shake the sense of emptiness that consumed her, the loss of her unborn child leaving a void in her heart that she feared would never be filled, the weight of her grief threatened to drown her in a sea of sorrow from which she feared she would never emerge.

Isang buwan rin ang nakalipas matapos ang mga nangyari, kasalukuyang nakatulala si Sheina sa kawalan, sitting on her wooden chair with warm tea on her small table.

She unconsciously touch her belly, a tear suddenly fall from her eyes.

"Sheina," her sister Harper touch her shoulder, she doesn't even look at her sister, Sheina was lost.

She want to go to Kristof, she doesn't want to be right here! She missed him so much. She wanted to say sorry because she lost his baby, their baby.

"I want to see him.." Sheina hold her sister's hand that's on her shoulder but her sister Harper remove her hand.

"This is for your own good."

Sheina look at her desperate on what she want.

"

Это для тебя, а не для меня. Это то, чего ты хотел, но не я, отпусти меня!" (It's for you. That's what you wanted but not me, let me go!)

"Sheina, we've already learned this from our grandparents, even mother accepted this family matter. That-we-are-mafia, you'll never get away. Kahit tumakas ka wala kang magagawa lalo pa't we're on the list target of the Mafia Emperor. "

Sheina's surprise expression made Harper smile.

"You knew t-tagalog?" Gulat na tanong ni Sheina ngunit nanatiling nakangiti si Harper.

"It's a family thingy little sister, but now I have to keep you safe here with-"  napamura si Harper ng malutong ng mabilis na inundayan siya ni Sheina ng kutsarita na nakapatong sa may tasa ng tsaa nito.
