Joshua Kelly is a member of the Van der Linde gang. Alongside, Arthur Morgan and John Marston, he's one of the adopted sons of Dutch. He sees Arthur and John as his brothers. He loves them dearly. Protective of them. He would kill for the gang. Die for the gang. Dutch saved him as a small kid. And he would die for Dutch.
But the Pinkertons are closing in on the gang after the Blackwater incident. They need to escape from the law. So they head east to get away.
But on the way, they come across a woman being held captive by O'Driscolls. A widow. Named Sadie Adler. Terrorized by the dreaded gang.
Arthur, Dutch, Joshua, and Micah rescue her from the gang and bring her to camp. As time goes on, Josh begins to fall for the woman. And begins to realize that something is truly wrong with his adoptive father. And he suspects that Micah Bell is the problem. And so does Arthur and John.
