the forbidden forest

[The next night, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco are being led to Hagrid's hut by Mr. Filch Mia sneaks up behind Draco he jumps but relaxes when he sees her.]

Draco: What are you doing here [he raises a brow]

Mia: I didn't want to let my brother suffer in detention alone merlin knows Harry is an ass [she hits her shoulder with his playfully he gives her a wide smile]

A few people in the hall gave a small chuckle. "You shouldn't say such bad words" Molly scolds "who are you my mother" Mia scoffs "NO but I am" Lily growls Mia snorts meanwhile James is rethinking many of his future decisions.

Filch: A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming. [Draco gulps, and Hermione rushes by.] You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the Dark Forest. [Hagrid appears with a crossbow. He sniffles.] A sorry lot, this, Hagrid. Oh, good God, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?

"WHY DOES HE EVEN WORK HERE, HE'S A SQUIB" Mia shouts "I don't know either Mrs. Riddle that was all Dumbledore" McGonagall sighs Dumbledore hides in his seat.

Hagrid: [sniffs and sighs] Norbert's gone. Dumbledore sent him off to Romania to live in a colony.

Hermione: Well, that's good, isn't it? He'll be with his own kind.

[Mia rolls her eyes as much as she loves Draco she doesn't know if getting dentation was worth it]

"What did you do" James leaned forward grinning along with Sirius "I turned Minnies hair green something simple, so I didn't get too much trouble I did have a life you know" Mia shrugs a few snickered the professor sighs thinking about retiring.

Hagrid: Yeah, but what if he don't like Romania? [Filch rolls eyes.] What if the other dragons are mean to him? He's only a baby, after all.

Filch: Oh, for God's sake, pull yourself together, man. You're going into the Forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you.

Draco: The Forest? I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are... [a howl sounds] ...werewolves!

Remus stiffens at the mention of them "they are children they shouldn't be going in their" Narcissa scoffs worried for her children "how could you allow this" Euphemia scoffs.

Filch: There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that. [Draco looks frightened.] Nighty-night. [He leaves to go back into the castle]

Hagrid: Right. Let's go.

Mia: Draco there are no werewolf's here I can promise you that.

[Mia gives him a light smile Draco relaxes a bit]

[In the Forbidden Forest, the group walks along a path to a tree. Hagrid stops, bends down and dips his fingers in a silver puddle. He pulls out his fingers and rubs them together. A silver trail smears with his fingers.]

Harry: Hagrid, what is that?

Hagrid: What we're here for. See that? That's unicorn's blood, that is. I found one dead a few weeks ago. Now, this one's been hurt bad by something. [Harry suddenly sees a large, cloaked figure walking through the trees. He looks at Hagrid.] So, it's our job to go and find the poor beast. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me.

"Who would do such a thing to that poor creature" Pandora spoke shaking her head.

Ron: Okay.

Hagrid:  Harry, you'll go with Malfoy and Potter. [Draco grimaces, and Harry turns and realizes his sister is there to he rolls his eyes but nods.]

Draco: Okay. Then we get Fang.

Hagrid: Fine. Just so you know, he's a bloody coward. [Fang whines.]

[Harry, Draco and Mia are walking through a part of the forest, with Fang leading. Draco has the lamp in his hand.]

Draco: You wait till my father hears about this. This is servant's stuff.

Lucius raises a brow

Harry: If I didn't know better, Draco, I'd say you were scared.

Draco: Scared, Potter? [He scoffs, but suddenly hears a howl] Did you hear that? Come on, Fang. Scared!

Mia: we are not even supposed to be out here I am so telling Aunt Cissy about this. [Mia grumbles she didn't want to sound like a baby, but it WAS the forbidden forest, and they are first years]

Narcissa smiles "I mean she has a point" Barty Jr shrugged.

[The three approach a flat ground with gnarled roots all over. Fang stops, then growls.]

Harry: What is it, Fang?

[Up ahead is a cloaked figure who is crouching over a dead unicorn, drinking its blood from its wound. The figure raises its head, silver blood dripping from its mouth. Harry gasps and grabs his scar, which is hurting. Draco screams with pure fear and runs away with Fang.]

Draco: HELP!!!!!

Mattheo glares at Draco who shrinks in his seat "I should kill you, you albino ferret she could have gotten hurt OR WORSE" Mattheo seethes Mia smiles shaking her head "come on love it was 8 years ago" Mia says pulling him down Mattheo didn't stop glaring but he sat down pulling Mia in his lap.

[Harry and Mia is left by themselves at the mercy of the figure who slides over the unicorn and rises erect. It advances towards Harry, who backs up, but trips. He crawls backwards. Suddenly, there is the sound of hoof-beats. A figure leaps over Harry and lands near the cloaked figure. It is a silver centaur called Firenze. It rears, and the cloaked figure retreats, flying away.]

Firenze: Harry Potter, Mia Potter you must leave. You are known to many creatures here. The Forest is not safe at this time. Especially for you two.

Harry: But what was that thing you saved us from?

Firenze: A monstrous creature. It is a terrible crime to slay a unicorn. Drinking the blood of a unicorn will keep you alive even if you are an inch from death. But at a terrible price. You have slain something so pure that from the moment the blood touches your lips, you will have a half-life. A cursed life.

Harry: But who would choose such a life?

Firenze: Can you think of no one?

Harry: Do you mean to say that thing that killed the unicorn that was drinking its blood, that was Voldemort?

"Oh my baby" Lily cries running to Harry and pulling him close "your daughter was there to" Marlene scoffs Lily doesn't move she still holding Harry.

[Mia freezes at the mention of his name but not out of fear]

Firenze: Do you know what is hidden in the school at this very moment, Mr. Potter?

Harry: [realizing] The Philosopher's Stone.

[Fang suddenly barks and Harry looks up to see Hagrid, Hermione, Ron and Draco appear. Hagrid has his crossbow ready but lowers it when he sees Firenze.]

Hermione: Harry! 

Draco: Mia!

Hagrid: Hello there, Firenze. I see you've met our young Mr. Potter. You all right there, Harry? [Harry nods]

"Sure don't worry about Mia" James scoffs.

Firenze: Harry Potter, Mia potter this is where I leave you. You're safe now. Good luck.

[He leaves as the group look at the dead unicorn.]

[Draco and Mia separate themselves from the group heading back to the castle]

Draco: Please don't tell Mattheo or Braxton I accidentally left you behind I won't make it back home. [his body shakes in fear not from what happened in the forest but because the two boys have anger issue's and are extremely protective over THEIR Mia]

"My Mia" Mattheo grumbles Mia shakes her head, for the son of the dark lord he is a big baby and she loves it.

Mia: [Laughs] I won't I promise.
