     I asked her, “Why I didn’t get informed…"
Did you call the physician?…”

She looked down, she haven’t looked at me property… What does she think of me?.... she said, “It’s fine… it’s nothing in front of what pain my body is going through…. After what you did to me” she is not giving up on her sharp words… she is no place to complain…

     I kissed her neck and said, “Then… there must be nothing wrong to serve me…” I felt her lightly pushing me, but her strength is not enough… why can’t just she tell me… she needs my help… fine… I am going to test her till she begs me…

    I secured her hands in mine and continued kissing her neck… I can hear her murmur.. but they are not clear, I connected my lips with her… she protested, but I am not going to stop… Whenever I kiss her, I lose my self-control and thoughts.. I just want her…

      I heard knock on the closed door, and a guard said, “Your Majesty… King Lionel and Queen Evelyn arrived…. They are waiting to meet you….” Brother is here… I knew they were coming, just for a few days' stay as they are travelling, but they are earlier than what I heard off..

   I moved back and saw her eyes filled with tears…. I let her hands go, and she immediately fixed her clothes.. why can’t she look at me… But now I have to meet brother, he must be waiting for me in my room,….

  I turned to the door and opened it, I walked out of the room, but I saw Brother and Sister-in-law waiting in front of the door.. why are they here…

   I said, “Brother, you should have waited in my room. There is no need for you to stand here.. and sister-in-law is with child, it’s not good for her either…” Brother smiled and said, “Don’t worry… she is strong women… I am so happy to see you good…”

    We heard a bang from inside the room, I turned to open the door, I saw Estella on the floor, her head has blood on it… I rushed to her, she looks pail,… did she faint… I carried her in my arms and rested on the bed… her forehead as sight bleeding… Sister-in-law, was beside me, she pushed me aside and started wiping her blood… she was worried about Estella… I am also worried about her…

  I heard brother ordering the guard to call the physician…. After a few minutes, the physician was checking her, and I was with both brother and sister-in-law in other room….  They both don’t look happy, and I don’t care…

        Brother Lionel asked, “What is this Adrian… why is she in this state….”

   I said, unbothered, “What do you mean… she was sick, she fainted”

   Sister-in-law said, “Your Majesty King Adrian… she was sick,, but marks on her body… can you give me the reasons behind it.. her neck, her arms… anyone can tell she was being tortured, bitten…. This is not one that should treat a women….”

   I turned to her and said, “Your highness… she is my slave, mistress.. she misbehaved.. she meets the punishment.. it doesn’t concern you.”

  Brother tried to explain, “Adrian.. she is a women… she young, hardly 20.. don’t you think you are being ruthless to her….”

     I replied, “You said, her life death are in my hand… since she is my slave… then why do you are talking right now…” Brother seemed to be speechless and angry, sister-in-law’s eyes were filled with tears… she sat on the chair…

   We heard a door knock, I said, “Come in..” I saw the lady who is here as a physician… she greeted us… I just nod…

   Sister-in-law asked, “How is she..”

   The physician said, “Your Highness, she is having a fever, I gave her medicine… she will be fine in a few hours.. she needs to take care.. she needs rest.. I applied medicine on her wounds…”

   I feel ease…  sister-in-law relied, “Thanks you…” she looked in relief..

   The physician said, “Congratulations, Your Majesty, King Adrian… Lady Estella is with child, she is showing early sign… she is hardly in her one or two week…..” My world stopped… what I heard was true?…. She is with my child.. our first child… I don’t know what to feel…..

   Sister-in-law stood up in shock, she looked at me with anger and disappointment, then she removed one of the rings and passed it to the physician. She said, “Thanks you.. this is reward for your service… please keep it a secret till the child grows for 5 months in her womb,, royal blood is precious…” the physician said, “I understand your grace…” the physician left..

   Sister-in-law turned to me and said, “Don’t take me wrong, but your majesty.. you don’t deserve this happiness.. please don’t make her suffer… If anything happens to her, then your child will be the first one to be at risk…” she walked out of the room, I knew she went to Estella…

        I sat there, Brother walked to me and place his hand on my shoulder and said, “love is hard brother… sometime you have to make your brain stop and make your heart take decisions…” Brother left….. I am filled with my own thoughts…

      I walked into her room, sister-in-law sitting beside her.. Estella was still sleeping…. I said, “your highness… you should go and rest…”
