A couple days had gone by since Wolf and Sniper's rekindling. Wolf would occasionally flirt with him when they were alone, or at least not with in earshot of the others. Wolf easily figured out that Scout knew about what was going on and, similarly to how Sniper handled it, she somewhat threatened him into not telling. Scout would sometimes mess with them: Bumping one of them into the other, making comments a child would make, or just making weird faces at them. Everything became a new normal for the group and seemed to be going better than before.

A while ago Miss Pauling had sent a video message mentioning something about a special assignment. Only a few of the mercs would be chosen to get the needed info from someone not associated with Mann.co. She also mentioned that she would come and personally inform those who were select to go. Everyone was on edge and preparing for what this assignment would entail.
Today was the day Miss Pauling arrived. First she wanted to do a basic run down of anything that happened at the main base, check up on some things Engineer was working on, and check the team's progress on any additional base projects. Once she finished she called everyone to the main room.
"All of you know why I am here," Miss Pauling fixed her glasses, looking at her notes, "So I won't waste anymore of your or my time."
She flipped a couple pages in her notepad as the room was silent with anticipation.
"To start-" She cut herself off as she looked up and somewhat began counting the amount of people in front of her- "Where's Wolf?" She questioned.
"I saw Mademoiselle Louve (Miss Wolf) leave not long ago." Spy responded.
"Yeah, she went for a jog." Scout chimed in.
"Well, guess I'll fill her in if I catch her." Miss Pauling sighed.
The job entailed going to a certain club and gathering info from a semi-prominent gang member. This information was vital and if put in the wrong hands could change the course of Mann.co.

Miss Pauling was leaving as Wolf walked up to the main entrance while turning her music off.
"Wolf!" Miss Pauling exclaimed, "Just the person I wanted to see."
"Did I miss the meeting?" Wolf asked, pulling her earbuds out.
"Yes, but I will fill you in." Miss Pauling opened up her notepad, "You were one of four people chosen for this assignment."
"One of four?" Wolf inquired.
"Yes. You, Sniper, Scout, and..." She looked down at her notes, "Spy."
"Why, the four of us specifically?"
"Well. . . Scout is good at getting both in and out of trouble fast. Sniper can read people and the situation the best. Spy has a cloaking device and can more easily talk his way in or out of anything." Missing Pauling seemed please by her choice.
"That explains them but not me." Wolf gestured toward herself.
"Well. . . you seem to have a connection to this club and-" Miss Pauling started.
"No no no no. . . it's not the club I think it is." Wolf interrupted franticly.
"It's the club just out side of Santa Fe, believe it's called 'Neon Moon'."
"Great..." Wolf sighed, "How, did you know I had a connection there?"
"Oh." Miss Pauling seemed surprised at the question, "I went to scope the place out and over heard some men talking about someone that sounded very similar to you."
