"Taehyung"

Tae lifted his head to see the owner of the voice. It is Kim Seokjin, standing there as if trying to understand what the hell is going on here. Tae hurriedly gathered his all stuff and stood up.

Seokjin focused his gaze on him.

and stepped forward .

"what is going on here?"

Tae shook his head and stepped away from the crowd , moved towards Jin.

"Hey, what are you doing here?", Tae asked and gestured Jin to go with him. Jin followed him , sensing that Tae was nervous and looked unwell.

behind them, Lyla called out to Tae.

Tae replied that he would talk to her later. and almost ran away from the students.

He quietly walked behind Tae whose shoulders are tensed and his movements are jerky. Jin is worried if those people were bullying Tae. He wants to ask, but how pale Tae is looking, he decided to not to say anything about it, for now.

Jin cleared his throat which made Tae looked at him. So, he decided to ask a basic question,

"is she your friend ?", Tae was unable to answer that question because he himself didn't know it.

''why did you come here?" Tae asked instead.

"uhm.. actually I was done with my lectures , I thought we could go home together? mom said that ,she wanted me to give you a ride " Jin hurriedly added some excuse. But this is true that his mother asked him to take Tae to uni but not today.

Tae was shocked at first but then he gave Jin a shy smile and nodded his head.

"I am free...I was going to the cafe."

Jin sighed in relief .

Their ride was filled with silence and awkwardness, Tae was fidgeting in his seat and Jin was brainstorming to find ways to initiate any conversation with him. Of course , there would be this kind of awkwardness , Jin had been avoiding him for days. They were practically strangers. But the most difficult part was that they were in this confide space of his car. He felt like he was drowning in the sea of the most enticing scent , he could not keep his mind straight because his mind was continuously drifting towards not very appropriate thoughts. How much it was all because of this omega. He muttered a curse under his breath at himself.

They finally reached their destination. Tae ran outside as if the car is on fire after muttering a thank you. Jin went after parking his car. The bell above the door tinkled cheerfully as he pushed his way into the cafe. A wave of warm yeasty air met him , mingling with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Tae was already inside and talking with his mother. They both really got along so well, he thought. He made his way towards them, felt a sting in his heart when when Tae visibly flinched and tensed. He frowned. His mother turned towards him when he stood beside her.

"Jin, you did good job today " she patted him as if he is a puppy. He almost whined at her to not do it in front of people, (especially Tae). This is a secret( not so secret) that her mother treats him like a puppy. Which is very weird when sometimes, she does this and he lets her. His friends, Nam and Yoongi made fun of him.. that was a very long time ago.. he was a kid. But old habits are not easy to let go. Tae looked at them with adoration. But there was something else was in his eyes also...something like longing.

When their eyes met, Tae looked away immediately and excused himself. He was about to go inside but his mother stopped him.

" Taehyung, where are you going? there is still an hour before your shift"

"It's okay Mrs. Kim, I can start right away."

"No ...come on , you won't work until I say" his mother took his hand and pulled him towards an empty table and made him sit.

"Now , you will eat something and rest until it is time for your shift, am I clear?" he was about to protest but his mother didn't let him.

"- Jin will be your company and if you didn't rest, he will tell me." she left with her final command. Jin stood there awkwardly , Tae was looking so perplexed.

" It is better if don't go against my mother's order." Jin finally broke the silence.

"can I sit here?" Jin gestured at the table . Tae nodded slowly. Jin sat in the chair in front of Tae. They ordered and sat there in silence  and some random chats here and there, reading their books or drinking their coffee. Jin was surprised when Tae asked him few things ..It was so good to hear his voice.

Jin felt so calm and relaxed , his inner wolf is also at peace, after a long time . There was a bliss silence between them while the cafe bustled with a comforting hum of activity.

Tae looked visibly relaxed now. An hour seemed so small when Tae excused himself and said that it is now time to work.
