Wide-eyed and speechless, everyone turned to look at him with a mixture of shock and confusion. Jin himself was so shocked. Then he realized he covered his face with his hands, trying to control his wolf. Oh god, he is embarrassed.
"What the hell?" It was Namjoon who was the one who got scolded by his wolf.
"Did you just use your alpha voice on me?" Namjoon asked, standing up. Jin backed up; he had no intention of being tackled by this big alpha.
"Listen," he lazily tried to defend himself. Behind them, Yoongi was still laughing while clutching his stomach.
"He's been a bit short lately. Why don't we try to say only nice things about my mate?"
"I do, but I was talking about my ex-omega boyfriend. What does it have to do with you--omega?"
*growl*
Yoongi only started laughing more.
Jin went to the couch and sat there with his coffee.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry for his behavior," he said,
*scoffing in disbelief*
Namjoon pouted and sat down beside Yoongi who was on the bed.
Jin took a sip of his coffee when his phone started ringing. He picked up his phone; his mother was calling him.
“Hello?”
“Jin, is Taehyung with you?” Her mother asked in a worried tone.
Jin frowned. “No, he is not with me, and I haven't even seen him since morning.”
Jin stood up and started collecting his things to go out and look for Taehyung. Namjoon and Yoongi looked at Jin, then looked at each other.
“He went to the hospital for his checkup but he still hasn't returned. I'm worried, Jin. He doesn't stay out unnecessarily, and he is never late for the cafe,” Jin's mother said she was worried.
“Don’t worry, Mom. I'm going to look for him… Yeah, ok.”
As he walked away, the two figures rose silently and trailed behind Jin. Suddenly, Jin halted and glanced over his shoulder.
“What are you two doing?” Jin asked as he was already in a hurry.
“We are coming with you,” Namjoon said as he sat in the passenger seat and Yoongi in the backseat.
“I don't see the reason for you to come”
Jin said even if he didn't care, he just needed to hurry and look for Tae.
“Well, the reason is, we want to see your mate," Yoongi said from behind.
“Of course,” Namjoon agreed aggressively.
Jin scoffed and drove towards the hospital Tae visited.
As they drove, Namjoon and Yoongi continued providing Jin with the reasons for “why should they meet his mate”.
“I don't understand why you did not introduce him to us, “ Namjoon complained.
“ What - I don't get enough time to be with him, and I think it would be more problematic because you both are alphas too, I don't want him to be uncomfortable” Jin answered.
“ Hmm ~But imagine, what if Namjoon had seen your mate before and fell in love with him, as you've said your mate is insanely gorgeous, That would be quite interesting,” Yoongi said with amusement at which Jin let out a huge growl at Namjoon. Which scared Namjoon.
Namjoon screamed back at Yoongi who was laughing at them.
“Stop it Yoongi before his wolf rips my head off” Namjoon screamed at Yoongi who was enjoying himself.
“Hah sorry sorry, it is so fun, I've never seen Jin’s alpha being so wild”
Jin was worried for Tae, but he ignored those idiots, parked his car in the hospital’s parking area and ran outside, Namjoon and Yoongi followed him.
Jin ran inside and asked about Tae, they said he had left a couple of hours ago. Jin came out of the hospital and looked around. He told his friends about Tae's appearance and they all went in different directions.
Jin came to the park near the hospital, he looked around, his alpha was sad, anxious and worried about Tae, which caused Jin to feel various emotions and his heart was beating fast.
Suddenly his wolf jerked up and started running towards the direction inside the park which made Jin run in that direction… finally he saw him.
He saw Taehyung sitting on a bench.
