I remember us being at your uncle's funeral, you crying and me being awkward as usual. The birds there fascinated you, landing on your outstretched palm, making you laugh. How I miss that laugh. Surrounded by salvias, I lie down again. Closed my eyes, trying to reach you. Silence filled the air. Strange, the chirps stopped too. I opened my eyes, and saw you next to me. I smiled at you, you look worried. As I am writing this, it's getting harder and harder to breathe. I fear there's not much time left. Well, I'll just close my eyes again and maybe I'll get to see you once again.
