YOUR EYEBAGS were painfully obvious. they expected you to act grumpy as it was obvious that you lacked sleep but you didn't. it was even a surprise to see you too energetic despite the lack of sleep.

"are you alright l/n?" tetsutetsu who was your seatmate asked for the tenth time. he was worried about your sudden change of attitude.

you looked at him like he was the weirdest person on the whole planet. "i'm fine tetsu. i'm just happy."

neito walked over to your table to check up on you, like tetsutetsu, everyone is concerned and curious with what's going on with you.

neito exaggeratedly slammed his hand on your desk with a gasp. "is this what we call character development?"

you glared at him but he just shrugged at you. why are they making a fuss? it's not like you're always grumpy when you're sleepy.

"maybe l/n's hungry. she'll return to normal once she gets pancake." juzo butted in.

"again, i'm normal." you said but no one paid attention to you and pulled you from your seat.

they were lucky that the teachers were having a meeting that's why you had the first class vacant.

they led you to the cafeteria to get some breakfast though you already ate a slice of bread earlier at the dorm, you were still hungry that's why you let them pull you.

you were in front of the cashier waiting for them to finish ordering when you heard a familiar voice beside you.

there he was, katsuki bakugo was on the other side of the line with his friends that you were also familiar with. you have seen them countless times with katsuki.

"oh, it's lemon!" you exclaimed as you looked at katsuki. your friends were clueless as to why you called katsuki that but the person you called was well aware why.

his brows furrowed. his two friends were curious. "lemon? is that your callsign?" the yellow haired male asked which earned a glare from katsuki.

"callsign my ass, dunce face!" he said at the yellow haired male who just laughed. katsuki turned to you with a glare. "and you, stop calling me that."

you laughed at the reaction. you really couldn't move on about what you just found out last night, the reason of your good mood.

"why? it's a cute nickname. who would've known someone who can tolerate spice but can't eat anything sour, even more, a lemon?" you said accompanied with a chuckle.

he snickered at you. "at least i can eat anything spicy, you almost cried just taking a bite on a spicy chicken."

you frowned as you remembered the scene last night.

katsuki accompanied you to the convenience store, he wouldn't budge so you let him. you didn't except that you'll someday eat with katsuki on a convenience store so late at night. it feels like you were dreaming— not because this is a dream come true but just like dreams, this is unexpected.

you sat on the seat available, there wasn't anyone around so it was quiet. if it weren't for the song being played on the speaker you would've lost your mind with how quiet it is.

both you and katsuki stayed silent as you ate on your food. you were hungry from all the walking you did and katsuki was stocking up energy since he just finished training.

you bought some fried noodles and two lemons to at least have vitamin c and happily took on a bite while katsuki ordered some spicy chicken breast along with a pork bun.

it was quiet but it wasn't awkward. you enjoyed the peaceful feeling of hanging out in the middle of the night.

after eating the fried noodle, you decided to eat the lemons, good thing it was already sliced so it was no problem eating those.

as you took one slice you noticed katsuki eyeing you with an unreadable expression on his face.

"you want some?" you offered but he shook his head.

"that's fucking gross, who eats lemons like that?" he asked. you realized that the expression on his face is disgust.

you raised a brow. "it's for vitamin c! you should try!" you offered again and he couldn't do anything when you forced him to hold the other half of the lemon.

you stared at him. patiently waiting for him to take a bite on the lemon. he had no choice but to go along as he didn't like the fact that you were literally staring at his soul.

as soon as the lemon touched his tongue he instantly made a face showing how sour the lemon is. it was unbelievable, you ended up bursting with laughter.

"the fuck?! this isn't even edible!" he shouted as he set the lemon aside.

you couldn't stop laughing. who knew katsuki could make a face aside from an angry one.

"who knew you couldn't handle anything sour!" you laughed, happy at the discovery.

he looked annoyed, his cheeks blushing, maybe out of embarrassment or anger. you don't know.

"oh yeah? can you handle spice then?" he asked as he handed you the chicken he was eating. you looked at him and he had this brag look on his face.

you took a bite on the chicken that he was offering, it didn't look spicy enough since it looked like a regular friend chicken.

but you were wrong.

as soon as you chew on the chicken, the spice instantly hit you. you felt your tongue burning with the spice.

this time katsuki laughed. "fuck! look at you tearing up! that even isn't spicy enough!"

you glared at him before grabbing the lemon and eating it to fight the spiciness.

"whatever lemon." you said. juzo was done ordering food for all of you. neito pulled you away from the hardheaded blonde.

katsuki scoffed at that before dispersing eijiro and kaminari's teasing.
