KATSUKI ISN'T stupid. he aced the entrance exam. he's been an academic achiever since he started school, he's third on the overall performance of class 2-a. he's not dumb.
the racing of his heart when you're around, his eyes that couldn't help but wonder about looking for you, him blushing when he made contact with you, him finding you pretty even when you just stood in front of him.
he's not dumb. he knows what he's feeling right now.
he's just in denial.
he wasn't blind. kaminari and eijiro's teasing were right. he just didn't want to admit it.
katsuki also doesn't have a stone as a heart. he feels emotions other than anger, and right now he's fucking jealous.
it has been a month since he bumped into you and didn't say sorry. it has been a month since the last ceremony and that is why all u.a students are gathered in the auditorium for another monthly routine.
it's also been three days since the scene at the library and easy to say that katsuki was avoiding you. yesterday you teased him when you saw him on the cafeteria but he was quick to look away and walk out of the cafeteria leaving you confused.
he didn't know why he was avoiding you. maybe because if he stayed by your side longer he would've admitted to himself that he likes you.
katsuki's section was just beside yours and he can see you clearly to where he is seated right now. he wasn't paying attention to the pro hero guest speaker that was on stage but his mind was wandering about how you laughed with the male beside you. he knew the guy you were laughing with, sen kaibara.
katsuki had a huge frown on his face. despite not wanting to admit what he feels for you, he didn't want to be obvious that he was affected seeing you having fun with someone else.
what was even funny? it was obvious that you two weren't paying attention but why is their class representative not doing anything?
katsuki looked away, annoyed at what is happening right now. even after the speech was over his mind was still replaying the scene.
this is fucking cringe. katsuki thought. he didn't like this feeling at all.
katsuki quickly stood up when it was over. he didn't even wait for their class representative, iida tenya's instruction to line up and stick together. he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
he managed to get out of the auditorium before it got too crowded. he was so close to their room to fetch his bag when he heard you call for him.
