"hey pretty boy!"
----
Heather had her hair down as she rushed back into the temporary office, a wide grin on her face. "Hey pretty boy!" She exclaims as she walks into the office, sending a grin to Elle.
Spencer flushed as he looked to Heather. "Hey Heather." Spencer says as she grabs one of the files, walking over to Elle. "I'll be in the other building keeping watch okay?" She says to Elle who nodded.
Spencer watched her leave as her heels clicked on the tile. His face was the same, but he couldn't deny the slightly faster beat of his heart.
Heather stood on the top floor of the second building, looking around for their supposed unsub. Her eyebrow raised, but her heart dropped when she heard a loud pop. "Everyone out!" She shouts as she rushes towards where the smoke was coming from.
"Heather!" Gideon shouts as they turn the corner, seeing the office on fire. The man used his elbow and broke the fire extinguisher box, grabbing the red can, passing it to Heather. The woman used the can and broke the window to his office, starting to extinguish the flame.
"Here!" Heather shouts as she passes the older man the extinguisher. But when Morgan came and began dragging the duo away, Gideon started shouting. "Gideon! Let it go!" Heather shouts as she helps Morgan drag him away.
When they made it to the stairwell, Morgan and Gideon paused while Heather rushed down, coughing a bit. Spencer caught sight of the woman, minimal ash coated her cheeks. "Hey." Spencer says as he walks over, the woman smiling slightly.
Late in the night, Heather was sat in a chair staring at the expressions of the students Elle photographed. "We've been at this all night, and we've got nothin'. Look at these expressions. We got fear, a touch of horror, even a little bit of panic. Where's the guy gettin' off?" Morgan questions as Heather picks up the photo he set down.
"When asked about his motives, Peter Dinsdale said, "I am devoted to fire. Fire is my master."" Spencer quotes, Heather sighing as she put down the photo.
"Okay, so who was our unsub's master? 10,000 plus students...And one has a serious fascination with fire." Morgan says Heather humming.
"Fire starting is one third of the homicidal triad...An early predictor of adult disassociative criminal behavior." Elle states. "I'll bet that if we looked in their childhood, we'd probably find all three. Bedwetting... and cruelty to animals." Heather says.
"Absent or abusive father, trouble with the opposite sex, chronic low self-esteem- M. O. would be dynamic. Evolvings, fire setting escalates, they thrive on panic, fear. It's just the standard profile of a serial arsonist." Gideon continues, moving around the room.
"Based on hundreds of interviews." Spencer says.
"Based on precedent." Morgan continues.
"Everything the unsub should be, according to research." Elle confirms.
