"are you okay...? like mentally?"
----
The next morning Heather had quickly gotten changed in a baby pink knit sweater, a pair of converse, and black slacks.
The blonde had quickly stepped out of the car, walking behind Spencer as she put her sunglasses on.
"He dissected the victim's arm postmortem. I think it's our guy." Agent Beeks says from the bottom, Heather turning to Spencer in confusion.
"Just one victim?" Spencer questioned, asking the same question Heather was thinking. "Yeah. He's in the passenger seat." Agent Beeks says, Rossi walked ahead of the duo, Heather walking down the slope.
The blonde stumbled ever so slightly, Spencer immediately grasping her forearms as she laughed. "Are you okay?" Spencer questions, Heather nodding with a laugh.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Heather says with her signature smile. When they caught up with Rossi and Beeks, Rossi was already questioning the man.
"Who is he?" Rossi questioned.
"Louis Hannum. 41 years old, well-known local Reverend. He closed the church after a canned food drive at 6 P. M., told the other volunteers he was taking the donations to the Salvation Army 3 miles northeast on Route 6." Agent Beeks told them.
"Did he leave with anyone?" Heather questions, looking at the murdered man in the car.
"No, they said he left alone. We're still getting names of everyone who was there." Agent Beeks continues, Heather nodding in confirmation.
"Before now, he's attacked families in their homes. Now just one victim on the side of the road? It doesn't- it doesn't really fit his victimology." Spencer stammers as he looks towards Rossi and Beeks.
"Well, it looks like he stabbed the Reverend while he was driving and then the truck crashed down here, he pushed him over, tried to drive away, but the truck was stuck." Beeks says as Spencer and Heather walk over to the other side.
"His rage was so blinding, he takes out the driver while in motion. He's lucky he didn't crash into oncoming traffic." Rossi says which made Heather nod.
"Then he immediately calms down and dissects the victim's arm?" Spencer questions which made Heather look down at the arm, her lip curling slightly.
"Yeah, he's incapable of thinking 5 minutes ahead. It's like he's got ADD." Agent Beeks says, this made Heather furrow her brows.
"A short attention span is putting it mildly. He's got wild mood swings, he's impulsive." Rossi says as he turns to the two younger agents.
Heather leans her weight on her other leg, looking up at Spencer and Rossi. "Young adults are inherently nonthreatening." Heather says, Spencer and Rossi immediately following along.
