"wow. okay. gross."

Heather rushed in with Morgan and Emily, the new information fresh in her mind. "Hotch. We need to rethink this unsub's decompensation." Morgan says as Heather nods vigorously.
"We thought his wife would be the next logical target, especially if she left him, but if it's other men, he could blame them for breaking up his marriage. It's basically how he started hunting all these guys in the first place." Heather says, all in one breath.
"Breathe King. What does that tell us about where he might be going?" Hotch questions the trio.
"Nothing. But it might tell us where he's been." Morgan answers as Heather turned to Emily.
"Decompensation means he's returning to his old patterns, his old habits. Maybe he did this before." Emily brought up.
"Maybe after his wife left, he searched for all her old partners and killed them." Heather says. "You want to look at unsolved murders?" Hotch questions.
"Crowley can pull them for us, match them based on the unsub's caliber." Morgan answers swiftly.
"Good. You might also need to give Garcia a hand working the locksmith angle." Hotch says, Heather raising a brow.
"Is there some reason she can't cover that on her own?" Morgan questions. "She's juggling two jobs. She might need some help." Hotch says as he walked away.
Heather turned to where Garcia was, and she saw the frustration and complete exhaustion on her friend's face. Morgan was the first to walk in, and when he walked out Heather walked in.
"Hey sweet girl." Heather says which made Garcia look up. "Hey lovely." Garcia says which made her smile. "There's the Garcia we know and love." Heather says as she gives the woman a quick hug.
After a while, Heather was in an SUV, gun strapped to her hip, vest over her upper body. She held her gun up as she rushed into the apartment behind Hotch.
"Clear!" She calls as she peered into a corner, but when they approached the kitchen she saw a blonde woman.
"Show me your hands." Hotch calls, the entire team having their guns trained onto her. "Who are you?" Heather calls, her voice thick with authority.
"Maryann Thomas." Maryann answered, her hands raised. "James Thomas' wife?" Emily questioned. "Where's your husband?" Spencer questioned.
"I don't know! He left for work this morning." Maryann exclaimed. "There's a gun locker in the closet. It's empty." Morgan says, also raising his gun.
"Get up. You're gonna help us find him." Hotch says, the woman standing and revealing her pregnancy to the team.
Heather lowered her gun, her eyes wide. That was his stressor.
