Judd looked down as y/n wrapped her arm around his while they walked through the cold. The rest of the family was walking ahead of them on the sidewalk, Diane dragging them to a family outing.

Judd was beginning to notice how y/n was becoming a bit more touchy, not that he was complaining at all, it was just different.

"Thats what happens when you make a girl cum. They cant get enough of you."

He felt the fingers of her hand intertwine with his, and instinctively he held her hand tight.

Soon the family made a turn into a pavilion filled with shops and restaurants. Diane gave her small speech, then they split off, Leah with Val, Nick with Andrew, Diane with Elliot, and Judd and y/n together.

"Where do you want to go?" Judd asked the girl. She scanned the pavillion for a few seconds before her eyes landed on an oddities shop.

"There."

When the two entered the place, they were greated by dust initially. Sun catchers, animal bones, and small trinkets and shelves infested the shop, making it cluttered and cozy-warm. They traveled the shelves slowly, Judd putting his hands on whatever taxidermied animals he found most interesting at any given moment, and y/n following after him with a giggle.

"Look at thi-" She began, picking up a insect display, though before she could get the words out, a gasp and a voice interrupted her.

"Judd Birch???" The voice was female, and as the two turned, there was the owner of it. She was a girl seemingly around their age, slightly taller than y/n and blonde. She looked Russian, and gorgeous.

"Its been forever." She said with a perfect smile.

Y/n looked over to Judd, his eyebrows were raised in surprise.
"Natalia." He mumbled.

The girl walked over and gave him a long hug, in which Judd's hands stayed at his side, but once he pulled back, his expression softened a bit, beginning to talk to her.

"What are you going all the way up here?" She asked, referring to the mountains.

"Dumbass family trip." He replied.

Y/n stood there awkwardly as they talked, it wasnt until Judd glanced her way that he cleared his throat, pressing his palm to her back, he pushed her forward a bit into the conversation.

"This is my uh— this is Y/n." Y/n cringed at the pause, but nevertheless threw her hand out for the girl to shake.

"His WHAT? Just the other day you were his GIRL. What happened to that???" Mona huffed angrily.

Natalia didn't shake her hand, she only looked her up and down for a moment with a hard stare, then she met y/n's eyes and smiled as sweetly as she could muster.

"Im Natalia, an old girlfriend." Then immediately she stepped to the side and began talking to Judd again. Y/n retracted her hand, smiling awkwardly.

"you work here now?" Judd asked, gesturing to Natalia's name tag.

"I do, the owner is a friend, he got me situated when I moved up here."
