To paraphrase Nina, "Don't judge a hunk by his abs." A gorgeous exterior will collapse in on itself if the inside is rotten. Is Lance a rotten S.O.B. or just a victim of circumstance?
Lancelot Harwood, when faced with adversity, had choices to make – just like anyone else. He made choices that were bad choices. They benefited himself, and often deliberately hurt others. He'd been hurt, so he took control by hurting back. That's not a win, that's a loss.
Lance was sent to jail on several counts, in several counties. Don't feel too bad, though. Because of his sudden infamy, his X-rated films began selling for a fortune on E-Bay; the film company released 'special editions' that netted both him and them a good deal of money. I read a small article in Variety that he was hard at work writing a screenplay about this summer, casting himself as the beleaguered child-star victim of a "Let's kidnap Lance and do terrible things to him" conspiracy, and making me the mastermind bad guy.
He's scheduled for release in 30 years or so, provided he behaves. No worries there, mind you. Behaving is something he does so well.
