Chapter 1

 ~The First day~

Kazuha POV:

I sat up in bed, groaning slightly at the sound of my alarm. I tapped on it until it stopped then laid back down in bed again. I had been in this new neighbourhood for a few days, but today was the day i was dreading... School. I sat in bed for a little longer on my phone until i heard shouting from downstairs 

"Kazuha! Get ready, you'll be late!" Beidou shouted at him 

I instantly recognised the voice and got up pretty quickly. I didn't partically feel like going in late and having a dentention on the first day. I got changed and myself ready in general then went downstairs to get some breakfast. 

"Be quick, I'll drop you off today so you have more time"  said Beidou 

I sighed a little, not really wanting to be dropped off as i prefered to walk.

"Okay fine"  i replied 

I finished my breakfast and followed Beidou to the car. Ningguang went off to work early in the morning so it was usually just us two around. On the way there Beidou started making a discussion again.

"Are you going to be fine here?" Beidou asked me

"Yes I'll be fine, remember Heizou is here, he'll look after me, i promise" 

"Okay, just please try to keep your anger in for me today sweet" Beidou said, her tone softening a little

"Yes yes I'll try" 

I wasn't really much of a talker in the mornings and Beidou knew that so she kept quiet for the rest of the way there, as i scrolled on my phone for a little bit.

"We are here, see you later Kazuha!" Said Beidou cheerfully 

"Cya" I replied, slightly grumpy we were here already

I got out of the car and made my way over to the school gate. I had absolutely no idea where i was going, the school was massive. Heizou messaged me earlier to meet me in the canteen and he'd take me to the office to get my timetable, but i had no clue where the hell that place was. I searched around the school hopelessly for awhile, until i finally came across Heizou.

"Oh my god Kazuha i haven't seen you in ages!" Screeched Heizou loudly, as he came over and gave me a quick hug

"Hey Heizou" I replied, chuckling a little at his reaction of seeing me

"Okay so follow me to the office to get your timetable"

"Okay then" i said, being a little more talkative now

On our way to the office we kept making discussion with eachother about little random things before getting to the office, where i got my timetable. Turns out i had only half of my classes with Heizou, but i was fine with that as sometimes he was...a little too much to handle. 

He walked me over to 1st period, my form room before walking off to his own. 

"Bye Kazuha, see you in 3rd yeah?" Said Heizou, walking off quickly as he was about to be late

"Yes see you later!" replying quickly, before walking slowly into the room

As i walked in everyone turned to face me, exactly what i did not want. I stayed quiet and walked over to the only spare seat there was, in the far back corner. Next to me was a boy who had dark purple hair, with almost an expressionless look on his face...or was it annoyance? I couldn't tell. I was pulled away from my thoughts as i heard the teacher say.

"Hello, would you mind introducing yourself to us" Said Miss Jean 

I groaned in annoyance, this is exactly what i didn't want

"I'm Kazuha, thats pretty much all you need to know" I said, slightly annoyed. I hated public interactions this big

"Okay then, anyways moving on.." 

The teacher kept on blabbering, like alot. I felt like i was genuinely going to get a headache. I sat there almost the whole time lost in my own thoughts not focusing untill i felt a kick on my leg from the purple haired boy.

"The fuck is your problem?" I whispered in slight annoyance to the boy.

"You, your the problem" He whispered, i could hear the irritant tone in his voice, it was almost sickening. 

After giving Scaramouche a harsh kick in the leg, i kept quiet for the rest of form. After the bell went off i basically stormed out of the classroom, bag in hand as i went to 2nd period which was history, luckily with Heizou. We met up after form and walked over together, and i went to sit next to him. I groaned slightly as i saw the purple haired boy walk into the classroom, giving me a slight death stare. What the hell is up with him? 

It was around halfway through the lesson when i slipped a note to Heizou saying

do you know who that lad is behind us, the one with the dark purple hair?

I watched Heizou read the note, a curious look on his face. He wrote on the other side of the paper and handed it to me.

Yes i do he's Scaramouche, part of the broken Fatui friend group, why?

I read the note, broken Fatui friend group? Strange. I didn't bother questioning it then wrote my answer.

I sit next to him in form, he has an obvious problem with me!

I watched Heizou slightly giggle while writing a response, and slid it towards me.

He has a problem with everyone!

I chuckled at the response, but made me jump when i heard a shouting coming from the teacher. 

"Kazuha, Heizou no note passing please! If i see it again i will read them" Shouted Mr Diluc. 

Rolling my eyes, i heard Heizou mumbling a sarcastic sorry, and we stopped passing notes and actually focused for the rest of the lesson.

After a while, i heard the bell ring and we all went storming out of the classroom for break. I walked behind them all with Heizou, as he walked me over to his friend groups table. I mumbled a small hi and so did the rest of the group, then they went back to their original discussion. They were all really loud, especially Venti, and it bothered me a little, so i put in my earpods and listened to a bit of music until it was over. 

The rest of the day flew by pretty fast. I just sat in the classroom not concentrating one bit, even took my phone out for a bit in Geography as it was incredibly boring. Even lunch wasn't  very entertaining, i just did the same thing as break. 

At the end of the day I walked quickly out of the school, listening to some music in my earpods. I was happy that i was actually able to walk home, it was probably around half an hour but it felt calming to me. Every now and again i turned behind me just to check if anyone was around, and i saw Scaramouche walking a little further behind me. I sighed in annoyance, probably lived around here aswell. 

Walking into the house, i mumbled a quick hello to Beidou before walking upstairs and i soon dozed off at my desk, feeling exhausted as i wasn't sleeping properly the past few days.

Hey! Sorry if this chapter was a bit boring, i just wanted to have a solid start. Also this is my first time writing so sorry if its all a bit messy or boring for awhile. I promise ill entertain things in the next chapter!
