~Project~

Scaramouche POV

I woke up early, around 3AM as i couldn't really sleep, at least that's what i thought until i saw my brother, Childe sneak into my room and sit down on my bed with me.

"Can't sleep either, comrade?" He whispered to me and gave a brief smile

"No.." I said slightly sluggishly

"What's up?" The ginger asked, slightly curious

i took a deep sigh "You know that boy, Kazuha? I've got to do a project with him and i'm dreading it"

"Ohhhh" Childe chuckled then smirked

"What are you thinking.." I asked, slightly annoyed

"You know exactly what i'm thinking" He said, getting slightly louder and his tone more arrogant

I rolled my eyes at him while he chuckled again, earning himself a playful slap around the head

"Hey!" Childe said while we were both laughing 

"Anyways, he's coming over tonight how the hell are we going to do this project if we are literally on the verge of beating eachother up"

"Good point i mean i'm on my date so i can't help until later" Said Childe, sounding slightly upset about missing it"

"Oh my god can you go!" I threw my pillow at him while chuckling 

"Fine fine i'm off!" He walked out of my room while chuckling 

After that discussion i felt a little more at easy and was able to get to sleep. 

Time skip to morning (1st period)

Kazuha POV 

 I sat on my chair in form, processing what i had to do after school. Damn teachers... I was in form a little earlier as i wanted to get out of the house for a bit so i decided to get out my phone and scroll on Instagram for a bit. I realized the group chat was buzzing again so i decided to open it and join in for a bit. I did think about the name choice for a few days but decided not to question it too much.

While putting my phone back into my pocket i took a deep breath and became lost in thought. What the hell was happening? I waited for a bit, continuing to zone in and out until i saw Scaramouche arrive late as per usual. I gave him a slight leg kick once he sat down.
