Rekindled Love

CHAPTER : TWO

Alina's POV

I was staring blankly on the stack papers that Yanna gave to me just awhile ago. Is she serious? I am going to sign all of these papers? Mukhang daig ko pa ang presidente sa dami ng papel na nakatambak ngayon sa harap ko, sa pagkakaalam ko kaya ako nandito ay para tulungan siya at hindi para pumalit sa p'westo niya.

I sigh and gently massage my temple. This is stressing me out, this is my first week here at her firm and yet she loves to give me a diffculties to handle all of this. She doesn't event want me to see her twins! How dare she. Those little ones that I love to play and spoil with, those cute giggles and their bubbly character. That is one of my reasons why I came home to see my niece.

Parang I want baby na rin. I want a little version of me that will call me their Mommy. Being a mother is one of my dream before and even now, but I did not had a chance to fulfill it. I am already on my late twenties at ilang taon nalang mawawala na ako sa kalendaryo. I want to build my own family too just like my cousin.

Look at her she is happily married to her wife and have a twin na sobrang cute. Ycaru on the other hand which is Yanna's half brother is also happily married to his husband Visarius and they have Yvianna. Ako nalang ata ang napagiiwanan sa pamilya namin.

When will be my time?

I sighed again.

I dwell myself on these paper in front of me to avoid from thinking those dreams that I could have done with her.

I shook my head realizing what I am thinking right now. Gosh Alina!

Inisa isa kong basahin ang bawat papel ngayon para masigurado na kung p'wede itong aprubahan. Hindi ko ba alam kay Yanna may sarili naman firm ang asawa niya which is ang DC Architectural pero nagpatayo pa siya ng sarili niya if she could work to her wife firm kaya ako itong nagsusuffer ngayon kakapirma nito.

You're the COO right? My mind asked.

Oh right.

I mentally facepalm and tried to focus myself again to these papers but not until it stopped from the specific client who wants to work with us.

Age: 31 years old

Pagkatapos kong basahin iyon ay napatingin ako sa may itaas na bahagi ng papel para tingnan ang itsura nito ngunit walang nakalagay na picture hindi katulad nu'ng ibang client na nabasa ko kani-kanina lang. Dahil doon ay napakunot ako ng noo at agad na dinial ang numero ni Yanna.

"Oh?" Agad niyang bungad sa akin pagkasagot niya ng tawag.

"Do you perhaps know this woman. One of our client." I replied.

I starts to touch her name gently and stare at it for a couple of minutes. There is something inside of me that wants to know her. Her name caught my interest.

"Sino?"

"Katalyna Vienn I. Lacsamana." I lowly utter.

"Ah si Attorney Lacsamana pala. Why'd you asked?"

That question made me stunned. Oo nga? Bakit ko natanong? Is it because her name caught my interest or perhaps I am curious of what she looks like dahil walang picture ang nakalagay rito sa folder.

"Nevermind." Saad ko sa kaniya at agad na binaba ang tawag.

Napatitig pa ako sa pangalan niya at tila may sariling mundo ang mga kamay ko dahil nagsasarili itong magtipa ng kung ano ano sa may computer ko ngayon. Only to find out that I was searching her name on the internet.
