Author's POV
Akash was still finding her everywhere. He passed the waiting area only to stop right there in doorstep.
His eyes were wide when he saw two people hugging eachothers. Most particularly, Shubman and Ananya.
He ran fast towards where everyone were.
"Bhai!" He exclaimed. He was panting hard, as he came running.
"Akash? What happened?" Arjun asked.
"Ani.... Ani!" It came out as mere whisper.
"What?" Arjun asked in disbelief.
"Ananya. She's in waiting room."
...
Ananya and Shubman were still eachothers' arms. Holding eachother after years felt like a sweet dream to them.
"Shub!" She whispered. "Hm!" He just hummed.
"We need to sort out the things." She said distancing herself a little from him.
"What do you mean?" He frowned.
"We have to discuss the whole thing. From starting. Though both of us know the truth now, but we have to explain eachother." She said.
"Yeah! You are right!" He nodded. But before he can speak further, there was loud bang bear door. Someone opened the door a little bit too harshly.
Ananya and Shubman jumped a little bit and turned to look at the invader.
There stood Ananya Sharma's whole family, looking happy, confused, sad, angry, disappoint, all at the same time.
"Ananya!" Arjun ran towards her embraced her, thanking god for a million times. Divya too came near them and joined the hug.
"You scared us!" Divya said. "I am sorry." Ananya sobbed.
"No! Everything's fine. You're fine." Arjun assured, before holding his world tightly.
As soon as they left, Ananya again was tackled in another hug. But this time, they knocked her out.
She fell on the ground with, Jivika, Ritesh, Akash and Nitya in top of her.
"Idiot! You scared us!" Jivika exclaimed.
"Ha woh to thik hai, but choddo! Saas nahi aa rahi hai!" Ananya exclaimed.
"Chup! Nalayak!" Akash shut her off.
They all shared a big, long group hug, just like on the ground, while prohibiting oxygen towards Ananya's lungs.
"Saalo, ab to chhod do!" At the end she cursed them, and they finally left her.
Ananya panted heavily, as Shubman helped her to stand.
Arjun was going to say something, but Divya held his arm, glaring at him.
"Don't you dare." She hissed. Poor boy, just stood behind her like a lost puppy.
"Ananya, are you fine?" Ishan asked her with concern. Ananya smiled at him. "I am Ishan."
Ishan sighned in relief, as Nitya held his hand assuringly.
"I think we should head back to hotel." Ritesh said.
Arjun nodded and escorted everyone out of the airport.
They reached the hotel soon. Arjun, Divya and the 5 friends walked ahead as Ishan and Shubman were still out.
"So,..." Ishan started but was cut off by a loud Shubman.
