Author's POV
Ananya reached home in the morning. As soon as she entered in the house, a voice boomed in the hall.
"Where were you?" Ananya looked at the owner of the voice and saw Arjun standing on the staircase.
"Calm down Arjun!" Divya said. "No! No one will come between me and her today!" Arjun said and climbed down the stairs.
"Bhaiya, I was........" Arjun cutt her off in between. "Where were you Ananya?" He asked.
"Bhai, I and Jivika were at Nitya's house." She said. "I am not asking about that. You can go with your friends where ever you want. But I am asking where were you before that?" Arjun asked with dangerously calm voice.
"We were in the club." Ananya answered while looking down. "And may I ask with whome you were in the club?" He asked again. "With Jivika and Nitya!" Ananya said and shrugged her shoulders.
"Don't you dare to lie Miss Sharma! Who was with you in the club?" Arjun asked this time raising his voice.
Ananya was shocked and she looked at Divya. Where Divya was as equal shocked and was looking at Arjun.
"What do you mean beta?" Ashok asked his grandson. "Ask her dadu!" Arjun said and waited for Ananya to reply.
"Tell him beta!" Gayatri nugged her beloved granddaughter.
"Leave it! I will tell you where was she. She was in the club not only with Jivika and Nitya but also with some big celebrities including cricketers and that Shubman." Arjun said and looked at Ananya.
Ananya was looking at her shoes knowing that she shouldn't have lied to Arjun.
"And even after knowing it, some people didn't told me about it. Rather lied to me that Ananay is at her friend's place." Arjun said glancing at Divya.
"How do you know?" Divya asked finally.
"I was there Divya. I was watching her. Though he didn't approached to her but I felt like to snap his head off his body!" Arjun said.
"Arjun, if she has already decided to face him, we should not discourage her, dear!" Gayatri said.
"Your Dadi is right beta. If Ananya is not bothered by seeing him infront of her, we should also forget about it. And technically it's been 4 years, so we have to move on beta!" Ashok said while keeping his hand on Arjun's shoulder.
Arjun didn't said anything but just picked up his car key and left.
Ananya too ran in her room leaving three people behind them in dilemma.
Ananya's POV
Why bhai can't understand that I want to show him that he don't affect me anymore. Though he does!
Deep down in my heart, I know that I still love him. It hurts whenever news of his affairs are everywhere on social media.
He affect me the same way he used to affect me before.
But how can I tell this to Bhai. I know he is a little too much possessive but that doesn't mean that should treat me like a small kid.
I am 23 now! I can take my own decisions right?
I stayed in my room whole day thinking about everything.
Arjun's POV
After I stormed out of my house, I sat in my car and drove towards my office.
I parked the car and entered inside.
As I walked in everyone greeted me but I paid no attention and stormed inside my cabin.
