Only a week was left for the engagement. The day decided for the event was Sunday and today is Monday.
The shopping was on full blast. Ananya had already decided to were lehenga which she and Jivika had designed. Both the girls had already fixed designs for their wedding function dresses a long time ago.
But both of their families wanted them wanted to make this official and announce their engagement. And Shubman and Ananya also king of agreed to it.
And today was the day of photoshoot. They wanted to announce it in the neatest way.
Ananya was at Shubman's house where he had called the photographer. The photographer Ajit was famous for his photography in B-town.
Shubman was wearing tshirt and jacket. While Ananya was wearing a dress which ended up on her knees and it had flurry sleeves. They had matched their outfits by wearing dark blue colour.
Ajit was setting up his camera when Shahneel walked up to live birds.
"So are you both excited?" She asked. "Not really! I am nervous!" Ananya said while fidgeting with her bracelet.
"Don't worry Ani. Everything's going to be alright." Shubman said and embraced her shoulder, while Shahneel smiled at them.
"Ok! As per we have decide, you both will post about this on you social media accounts. And then no chuppan-chupai with paps ok?" Shahneel reminded them.
"Sir, camera is ready!" They heard Ajit and they walked towards him.
"So how you want your photos to be clicked?" Ajit asked.
The three exchanged their looks.
"We don't know. We just want some simple photos so that we can post them as the announcement." Ananya said.
Ajit thought for a minute and nodded.
"Alright!" He said and picked up his camera.
He looked around for the background and decided for balcony.
All of them walked in the balcony. It was beautifully decorated with lots of plants and flowers. Ajit liked the background.
"Ok! This will look great." He said and gestured them to stood there.
Shubman and Ananya stood infront of the wall, facing the camera. First they clicked photos with some cute poses.
And after that, Shahneel brought them a dummy ring.
"This aren't your engagement ring but these will look good." Shahneel said and handed Ananya the ring. She slipped it in her left hand's ring finger.
Now both of them stood facing eachother and their forehead attached. They were smiling widely and Ajit smiled looking at them because he knew it wasn't fake for the photo. It was genius.
Ananya placed her left hand on Shubman's cheek. He suddenly felt butterflies in his stomach.
Ajit captured the photo such a way that the sun was visible from between them.
Ajit showed them the picture and they liked it so much. And they decided to post this pic.
Soon the shoot was wrapped up and Ajit left.
Three of them sat on the sofa tiredly.
"Ok! Now post the picture." Shahneel said excitedly. "Now?" Shubman asked annoyingly.
"Yes right now!" Shahneel said firmly and passed him his phone. Ananya chuckled and picked up her phone too.
Shubman quickly posted the picture. And soon it was loaded with comments and likes.

Shubman scrolled through the comments. People accepted them. He was happy. On the other side, Ananya posted the photo and many people responded on it. They were happy that they were getting engaged.
Someone even suggested her to wear kala dhaga in her hand to save herself from evil eyes. She was delighted because of so much love.
They both smiled at eachother. While Shahneel walked towards her room as Jeet called her.
That's when Shubman got a group call from ICT.
He picked it up and Ishan screamed from the other side. "CONGRATULATIONS DARLING!" Ishan said in caps lock.
"Thank you!" Shubman chuckled. "Our kiddo is getting married soon! "Virat said.
"Ok! We just called to congratulate you. You enjoy your time with your fiance. We will call later." Hardik teased him a.d everyone hung up the call.
"Everyone are so happy!" Shubman chuckled. Ananya hugged him and they both stayed like this for long time.

It was nearly night on the skies of New York City. A tall glass building stood there. Many famous people lived there in luxury.
A woman was sitting on the desk working on her laptop in same building, in a penthouse. She was typing something on her laptop when a notification from Instagram popped up on her web page.
She opened it saw, a media channel posted about Shubman's engagement. She narrowed her eyes at the post and quickly typed Shuman Gill on the Instagram search bar. As his account popped up, she opened it and went through his most recent post.
She looked at the happy couple in picture and smirked.
"Tina!" Sha called her assistant. "Yes mam?" Tina who was working in the same sitting on the sofa looked up.
"Book my ticket for India. I will be leaving at Saturday." She said.
Tina stood up and walked towards her. "Mam, but what about the meetings scheduled next week? You can't miss that!" Tina said.
"Relax Tina. I know all those meetings are important. But I really need to pay visit to my really old friend." The woman said emphasizing on the word friend.
"Alright mam!" Tina said and walked away.
The woman looked at the screen again and smirked. "Guess who is coming, Mr. Gill!" She spoke evilly.
