"I am Mrs. Shubman Gill. His first wife."
As soon as the words escaped from her mouth, there was silence. Suddenly a voice was heard.
"What kind of joke is this?" Shahneel's loud words echoed through the hall.
Ananya was standing there numb. She couldn't process anything. What did this woman meant by his first wife?
"Is this some kind of joke?" Arjun asked and took a step forward.
"Why would I joke Mr. Sharma?" The woman asked in monotone.
Soft murmurs could be heard from the guests. Some were shocked and some were surprised. ICT were shocked too.
"There is no way you are his wife!" Ishan said. "What proof you have?" Hardik asked.
"Throw this woman out now. Take her away." Arjun said to some security guards.
As soon as the security guards came near her, a man came and stood between them. He was dressed in black attire and looked like a bodyguard.
"Don't you dare to touch Mam!" That man said. Seems like he was her bodyguard.
"Who are you? What do you want from us?" Mr. Gill asked. But the woman was quite.
"Answer us!" Arjun said in loud voice.
"I am sure this woman is sent by that Shanaya." Nitya spoke and everyone looked at her. "She tried to sabotage Shubman and Ananya's relationship once. She can do it again too."
"You are right. This must be that Shanaya's plan." Ishan agreed with his wife.
"I don't know any woman named Shanaya, Mrs. Kishan." That woman spoke while looking at Nitya.
"Who are you beta?" Ananya's grandfather asked.
"Beta? Why are you calling her beta dadaji?" Abhishek asked.
Meanwhile in the chaos, two persons were standing still. Ananya and Shubman.
Ananya was still trying to process everything. But she shook her head. She won't misunderstand everything again. She suffered once, and now she won't repeat her mistake. She thought in her mind.
While Shubman was standing still. Staring at the invader. He seems to have different emotions in his eyes. He was shocked to see her again after many years. He recognised her!
Without saying anything, he climbed down from the stage and walked towards that woman. Ananya looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. What was he trying to do?
And unknown to everyone, Shubman hugged the woman.
"Where were you? You know how much I missed you?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Ananya stumbled a bit.
"What do you mean Shubman? Who is she?" She asked.
There were few gasps as he hugged the woman.
But Shubman didn't answered her.
"Shub? Shub? Shubman?" Ananya raised her voice but he didn't replied her.
"Shubman, yeh kya bakwas kar raha hai?" Mrs. Gill asked.
He left the woman and suddenly started hitting her in her arms.
"Kutti, kamini, aaj aayi hai itne saal baad, woh bhi aise?" He asked while gesturing atvher attire.
"Ouch! Oye, kya kar raha hai, lag rahi hai Maan!" The woman said.
