Chapter 7

"Ram, lets go shopping?"

"I'm still working."

"Are you not finished yet. You've been working since this early morning. You said it just a bakeshop brochure." Sid sulking.

"I'm almost done. My client is so perfectionist. She want every details perfect."

Sid sigh. "Is it famous bakeshop?"

"Sort of."

"Did she pay you much?"

"Not really."

"See. Why wasted so much time?"

"Hey, this is my work, you know." I scolded him.

"Yah, right!"

"Just give me more minutes, after that, I promise I accompany you wherever you want to go."

"Really?! You promise me? You can't take it back your words." Sid suddenly get excited.

"Yes. Promise."

After a hour, I found myself in a mall with Sid.

"Wow, are you planning to buy all the clothes in this mall?"

"Come on, it's more cheaper here than in Canada."

"I don't understand why you need to spent so much money for clothes."

"Ramices, for your info, half of this things are yours." Sid said while pointing the paper bags we're holding.

"I didn't asked for it." I reason out.

"Come on Ram, let me dress you today. I'm enjoying to buy you clothes and accessories."

"Why? Because its more easier to find my size than before?"

"Correct!" Sid said loudly.

After walking around the mall, finally Sid decided to find something to eat.

"Finally, I thought you won't asked. I'm so hungry now." I said desperately.

"Yah, I know, all you can think is always food." Sid pouting.

"What do you expected? Of course I love eating." I said proudly.

"Let's go somewhere. I don't want  fastfood meal. I treat you a delicious and expensive food this time."

"Really? You're the best Sid." I said excited.

To my surprise he snatched my car key. "I'll drive. I know you already tired in walking."

"Seriously? Do you know how to drive?" I asked hesitated.

"Hey, you jerk! I have my license in my pocket."

"You sure?" I asked. Still not convinced.

"Yes. Hop in now, before I change my mind." he said smiling.

He take a half hour in driving before he stop the car in the parking of the classy restaurant.

"Look expensive here." I commented while looking the entrance of the restaurant.

"Don't worry, I pay for our food Ram. Why look bothered?"

"Im not. Is just that, I feel sorry for your wallet." I said.

Sid just smile and drag me in the restaurant.

When our food arrived, I can't help but to amazed.

"This is looks delicious Sid." I said in happiness.

"I told you, this restaurant is the best."

"How did know this place?" I asked him.

"From a friend. Actually, is just open 4 months ago and became big in short period of time."

"Oh, maybe the food really delicious."

"Lets try it." Sid encourage.

We both enjoying our food. It really good.

"Can I join?" someone asked suddenly.

I suddenly stop eating but afraid to look at the person who asked. The voice was very familiar to me. 'No. It can't be.' my mind protest.

"Mr Amos." Sid finally confirmed my doubtness.
