"What are doing here? I mean..."

"Im just passing by when I saw you."

"Who is he, son?" Mom asked.

"Oh, my apology Ma'am. I'm Axel Amos, Ramices colleague."

"Axel...the name seems familiar...are you..." Mom said.

"Mom!" I interrupt to warn her to what she was going to say.

"Oh Axel, nice meeting you." she said later after getting my warning.

"Same here ma'am."

"We don't want to bother you Mr. Amos. You can go on your way..."

"Ramices, that's rude."

"But mom..."

"Why do you invite Axel to celebrate with us, instead."

"Mom!"

"Why?"

"If you don't mind, can I asked what the celebration for?"

"We are celebrating Ram first normal job."

"Normal job?" Axel asked confuse.

"Yes. He do partime for a years, now finally doing a regular job."

"Oh, congratulations Ramices.

"T-thank you." I said ackward.

"Can you celebrate with us Axel?"

"Mom, why so annoying? Mr. Amos is a busy person, so stop bothering him." I scolding.

"No, it's okey. What is the plan?" Axel asked while smiling.

"A little shopping and grab a meal after." mom answer.

"Okey. I buy the shirt for you Ram. Take that as a gift from me."

"No need. I can come back for that on my salary."

"Please, accept it."

"Come on, Ramices don't be killjoy."

"Mom, how can you say that to me?"

Mom just laughed. "Acting hard to get."

Suddenly my face got red in embarrassed.

"Its okey then, I go and pay for it."

When Axel went to cashier, I face my mom angrily.

"Mom, what are you trying to do? Why suddenly acting like that?"

"What? I'm just trying to be nice to your ex." she said teasing.

"He's not my ex mom!"

"Oh, just the same. He's your colleague anyway."

"Oh my, I can't win with you." I said surrendering. Mom just laughed.

"Where do we go next?" Axel asked later.

"We plan to eat our favorite fried chicken." mom answer for me.

"Then let's go." Axel agreed.

We reach the restaurant where serving unlimited fried chicken.

"Axel, you can order any part of the chicken you like here."

"Really Ma'am?"

"Yes, but for Ramices just order him chicken breast."

"Mom, I thought I can eat what I want today?"

"Hey, we didn't talk about that. So maintain your diet okey. Remember, do this for your future boyfriend."

"You are single?" Axel suddenly interrupted.

"He is." Mom answer. "How about you Mr Amos? Are you in relationship right now?" Mom suddenly asked that make me so embarrassed again.

"No, ma'am. I'm also single and waiting for the right one."

"That's good to know."

"Mom..." I whispered.

"Come on let's order our food. I'm too hungry now." mom said ignoring me.

"Here Ram, take this chicken breast." Axel served me.

"Thank you."

Mom just watching us and smiling.

"How's life after graduation?" suddenly Axel asked.

"Just fine. Nothing interesting happened." I answer in cold.

"I want to apologize again about what happened before."

"Its okey, it's already in the past. Just forget it."

He nod and continue eating.

"Ram, can I invite Axel to our house?"

"Mom, that's too much bother."

"Can I? I mean can I visit to your house in my free time?"

"Axel..." Actually, I don't know how I answer him. I want to reject him and hopefully not see him again.

"Even Ram don't agree, I still give you my permission to visit me Axel." Mom suddenly said

"Mother!" I said in shocked.
