Chapter 5: Tough Decision

A few weeks later the gang was hanging around the park. They all had gotten even closer. She has become comfortable with everyone especially Asami. She and Asami grew to have feelings for each other but won't admit it. They all sat and hung around the water fountain. "I have a plan," Wu said, suddenly. Wu told Jinora and she nodded. She ran and bumped into Korra making her fall into the water fountain. Korra fell off the edge and into the fountain. She made a big slash. Everyone laughed a bit, even Asami. "Haha, very funny," Korra said as she blew her wet hair out of her face. She got out of the fountain. "Damn it. Now I'm all wet," Korra said as she squeezed her shirt to let the water out. Asami blushed to see Korra's muscles. 'Damn I know she was built well and ripped but did she get more ripped and hotter?' Asami thought. Korra then ran her hands through her hair to push it from her face. She took her hair and ruffled her hair to shake the water out. "Just great. My hair is all messed up now," Korra said as she shook her head and Asami bit her lip. 

The gang walked up behind Asami and smirked. "So Asami. Still crushing on, Korra, are we?" Wu asked. "W-What?! No! I'm not!" Asami said. "It's okay if you are. We won't judge," Opal said. "No! Really! We're just friends! I don't like her!" Asami said. "Then why were you staring at her?" Kai asked. "I-I wasn't!" Asami said. "You weren't what?" Korra asked, walking up to them. "Nothing!" Asami said as she quickly turned around but as soon as she did she blushed. "Okay? Well, vamos amigos. I still got somewhere to be," Korra said as she walked past them. "Where do you gotta go?" Bolin asked. "Don't worry about it," Korra said and they left. 

Korra dropped Jinora off at the house and the others left. Korra made sure no one was following her then left the house. She went to the slums and walked through alleys. She put a mask on and was soon cornered by a gang. "Look who it is. It's the LRW," They laughed and tried to attack her... A few minutes later Asami was walking when a giant dog jumped out of an alley. Then she noticed that it was a wolf. The wolf looked at her for a second then ran away. Asami looked into the alley to see a whole gang laying there beat and unconscious. "No way!" Asami said.

The next day the gang all met at the park. Korra was babysitting Meelo, Ikki, and Rohan. "I swear! That's what I saw! I bet you it was the LRW!" Asami said but they didn't believe her. "The LRW, huh?" Korra asked. "Yeah! I saw it! The gang was laying there in the alley," Asami said. "I believe you," Korra said. "Really?!" They all asked. "Yeah. I've seen it too," Korra said. 'Mostly because it was me,' She thought. "Thank you!" Asami hugged her but then let her go once she noticed what she did. "So are you going to the party?" Asami asked and Korra looked away a bit annoyed. "No! She's going! Because we're going with her!" Mako said and they had a whole argument but they ended up helping Korra get ready for Kuvira's party.

They soon left for the party and when they got there Kuvira let them in. But as soon as they got in the lights went off and no one was there. "What the hell?!" Korra asked. "Hello! Guest! Sorry, I didn't expect anyone else to be with the mangy mutt. So we're going to get rid of all of you. At least you all die together. Once we get rid of Korra here then our gang can finally grow," Kuvira said as there was a popping noise then a giant explosion. Everyone blacked out then Korra woke up to see everyone else unconscious. She transformed into her wolf form and ran over to Asami and the others. She got everyone but Asami out. There was soon an ambulance outside. She ran over to Asami. "Come on, Asami, wake up!" Korra said, then Asami opened her eyes. "H-Huh? K-Korra? W-What?" Asami asked. "No time to explain, we need to get you out of here. Get on my back and hold on tight!" Korra said and Asami did. Korra ran through the fire and out the back door so she wouldn't be seen.

A few hours later Asami woke up in the field. She looked over to see Korra sitting against a rock. "Where? What?" Asami asked, shooting up straight. "Calm down, the others are fine," Korra said. "The wolf!" Asami said. "Is gone. Drop you and me here then leave," Korra said, "I'm sorry, Sami. For bringing all of you into this. This is a battle that I shouldn't have brought you in. I should have never gotten this close to you guys," "Korra, what are you talking about?" Asami asked and could tell that something was up. "I'm sorry for putting you and the others in danger. I'm sorry about the Kuvira thing. Right now it would probably be better if you stayed away from me for a while," Korra said and Asami heard the last part. "You mean like no longer hanging out?! Korra! No! I'm staying with you," Asami said going up to Korra. She pulled Korra into a high. "I don't care what or who you are! What you're going through! I can help you! I'm not going to just leave you! Let me help!" Asami said. "I know you're not. I wish you could. I'm sorry, Asami. You were the only person I could truly talk to. I like you a lot. Goodbye Asami," Korra said and knocked Asami out. She took Asami back to her house. Once she did she left. 'It will be better this way, Asami. If you knew who I was...' Korra thought.
