Life is like pineapple on pizza. You either like it, or you absolutely despise it.

Wooyoung slammed the door behind him, echoing through the empty house. He tossed his bag onto the couch, not caring where it landed. The usual silence greeted him.

He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair, and headed to the kitchen to grab something to eat, but found nothing, as always.

"Shit. Not again." He groaned and leaned against the kitchen counter.

Across town, Yuqi was being teased by San about a school project while Haewon was preparing dinner, the aroma of spices filling the air.

"Dinner's ready!" the oldest yelled from the kitchen.

Yuqi playfully pushed her brother by the side and ran to the kitchen.

"Fuc- Not bless you Yuqi!" The boy yelled and rolled his eyes.

This world is full of different specimens. Poor people, rich people, happy, sad, homeless, etc. No one will ever be the same. And everyone has its own story.

"Hurry up Yuqi! You're gonna be late again!" Haewon shouted from downstairs as she sighed.

The youngest rushed her make-up as she sprayed some deodorant and perfume on. She was in a rush, as always. Yuqi isn't Yuqi without being late wherever she goes.

She ran down the stairs, almost falling, and was yeeted out of the house.

"For fucks sake... This girl is a complete mess." Haewon sighs.

"I approve," San mumbled as he got out of the bathroom, washing his teeth.

"And what the hell are you doing still home? Get your ass to school!" The oldest hissed as she got ready to throw something at the boy.

YUQI

As I rushed out of the house to catch the bus I breathed heavily. And of course, I was too late.

I have to walk to school and I will get detention again... Great! I murmured to myself.

Being late again wasn't just an inconvenience—it felt like another mark against me.

I tried to sprint to school, but the sun made it hard to do any complicated movements. It was too hot.

As I trudged along, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out to see a text from Haewon.

best sis♡: don't tell me you missed the bus again

minion♡: kind of

best sis♡: yuqi i swear to god, you're getting detention again aren't you

minion♡: i guess so...

I sighed and stuffed the phone back into my pocket, picking up my pace. The school's gates were finally closer to me.

I slipped through the gate and made a beeline for the building, hoping to avoid the watchful eye of the hall monitor.

But luck was not on my side. As soon as I stepped inside, Mr. Kim, the strictest teacher in the school, was there, clipboard in hand.

I'm fucked up...

"Late again, miss Yuqi?" he asked, his voice dripping with disappointment.

I sighed, nodding. "Sorry, Mr. Kim."
